Get use to seeing Goodson all over the place

I see him as a Kevin Faulk kinda back for what the Panthers want.

A tough, fast heady ball player that can be plugged in as a RB, WR, slot, do something in the return game and special teams.

Heck he might even fly the team plane from time to time.

I was thinking more along the lines of a taller Eric Metcalf. Nick Goings was kind of our Kevin Faulk.

(yeah, I know; I'm being picky)

The analysis of all the things he could do for us is on point.

As NFL fans I think we know that Goodson is not THE answer, but PART of it.

If he were our#1 back I would be worried as well.

I agree with pstall, anytime you can get a guy that can play multiple roles, on top of what we already have in Williams and Stewart, that's when special things can happen.

Ummm, you mean while Henning was our OC?

Your avatar makes me dizzy...

I said he looked like Davidson's Faulk when he was drafted. IMO he's much more Faulklike skillwise than Goings. Goings wasn't much a a threat in space. That's where Faulk makes most of his bones.

lets be honest...IDK if he will be anything big just because

1.because he is behind Dwill and jstew

2.even if we use him in the slot..when do you think jake will throw to him

I think his best shot is special team. hopefully i am wrong and fox opens up the playbook for him and the TEs.

i may be going wayyyy out on a limb here, but i honest think we have the tools to be a top-five offense this year.

Ridiculous ground game, (goodson will only make it better) more passing options, (goodson out of the backfield/slot, jarrett stepping up, all of which will take coverage off of smith if it's successful, and we know what happens then) Delhomme with a new QB coach who'll hopefully get him to spread the ball around to what's likely to be a myriad of open targets...

I think we are going to scare the sh*t out of some teams in the preseason, and for good reason.

Yea... depends on how we utilize all that talent to become the best offense out there

Fox dont got the mentality that you win no matter what, even if it means putting up 50+ on the score boards instead of a defensive battle. Only a lil problem with us is that we score tooo quick lol, so the defense regardless stays out there

That's not a great sign.

I have followed him since he signed with A&M out of Palestine High School. This is a typical Heisman clip of great runs, but the fact is that he was underwhelming as college player and such occurances were few and far between.

The expectations on the Board are probably going to prove to be a little too high.

From what I read it wasn't all Goodson. Seems he fell out of favor with the coaching staff. I would imagine he wants more than anything to prove the coaches wrong.

I hope he becomes the steal of the draft.

Go Panthers
