Gman Agreed COLTS Were Right Fit For Nicks

He didn't take less to go to Indy. It's 3.5 mil with incentives that could bring it up to 6 mil. He clearly wants to pad his stats to get a massive contract next offseason.

not sure how true that is after he specifically stated he wanted a long term deal in the same interview where he talked about catching passes from Cam. But hey maybe dude was just indecisive in that

You'd get the poo slapped out of you if you ever said that poo around me. Thats my quarterback

Sounds like a great way to get shot.

Dave Gettleman is the only GM I've ever hear of (in any sport) that is a 95% straight shooter. I have a great deal of respect for that. If Nicks really is a better fit there, then how can you bash him? Just because G-Man isn't a complete shill that would force a guy in here that wasn't going to be happy in 6 months anyway? If the dude doesn't fit, then he doesn't fit. Not everyone can magically fit in anywhere. Nick's is not "the future" of anything except for allowing local doctors to purchase a $500,000 summer home with all the medical bills he racks up. Absolutely no problem with G-Man on this one.

If you were going to sign a one year deal in hopes of landing a long term deal in '15, which situation would you think would be better for you?

A)  15th ranked offense, great QB, additional support at the WR position, weak conference and a chance be an integral part of a playoff team.

2)  26th ranked offense, 29th ranked passing attack, great QB, no current WR support, team is in cap trouble, having to replace the team's best WR in history

One is obviously a better situation than the other.  I still believe we make a play at Nicks in 2015 if he does indeed prove himself in Indy.

Exactly. Whoever comes here is going to need some balls. High risk high reward
