Just think he had a rough mid 2000's (sometimes you just gotta pay the bills). I liked Time to Kill, Reign of Fire, U571, & the Lincoln Lawyer. And who can forget.....

He's always had the acting chops. A time to kill I thought he should have been nominated for something.

The dudes not your typical Hollywood type. I have a feeling he cashed in on those movies to fund his backpacking trips. The guy goes off the grid for months at a time.

I am glad a guy like Nolan is off of a franchise project..he is one of the best original minds in Hollywood and he has a lot of clout for now..

He has proven to be a profitable writer/director who can command audiences with complex storylines.
