I don't know about very good, but they probably can replace the raw number production of Lafell or Ginn.

But Ginn added an element to our offense that was pretty nice to have that wasn't really reflected in his numbers with the way he could blow the top off a D. Still, Arizona paid more than I would have. And we may find that kinda guy again.

Remember, going into last season, few people really expected Ginn to produce the way he did.

yeah fair assessment dude.

I pretty much just look at this and think that these guys were a head start for this season. When we signed them late in the season, I was wondering what was the point? We've already established our guys, at least for 2013.

Now it makes sense. A tryout. He must of liked what he saw when he had them jump through our hoops.

Also, king is a down the field kind of guy, could surprise some people.

I'm not so sure why it's hard to understand that a fan doesn't have to look at the future or accept the decisions made or not made. Fans are emotional, illogical, and fickle. What makes anyone think that a person like that would be willing to listen to reason?

Fans want to be entertained not bored or made to feel that they will be forking out sums of money for a significantly inferior product.

Personally, I'm positive that Getts has done what he's done for the betterment of the team and in a couple years we should be really good for a long time. If things go as planned of course.

Still this roster scares the bejeebus outta me.

Unproven wr in the NFL, not worst. King and mcnutt were both amazing in college.

Dwayne Jarrett was amazing college. They were pretty good.

King, and McNutt have proven no more than potential draft picks this year.

Damn we have some homers in here.

Maybe to the "outsiders looking in" like us, but have we seen these guys in practice? The guys up stairs have.

Please read the article if you haven't already

I'm not saying they are the answers either

Please click the damn link.

Every time I see a retard post, I'm just gunna put down this link.

Clicked it.  Read it.  Not everyone one the market it going for big money.  Meanwhile, cutting Smitty sure did save us a ton.

I'm not a part of the fan base that wants to jump of a cliff, but I'm certainly not a part of the fan base electing to simply stick their heads up their own asses and pretend it smells like roses.

Yeah basically if you disagree with anything Gettleman does in the slightest, you are just an idiot, and don't know anything.

But the same people saying this want to blame Hurney for it when their dog pisses on the rug.

Yeah, how long will the "blame Hurney" line last?  Pretty much every new coach or GM in the NFL is inheriting a shitty situation or else the job wouldn't be open.  There are notable exceptions like the Niners and Chiefs recently, but they're few and far between.  It's not like Dave Gettleman is the first GM in NFL history to walk into a tough spot.

(" Carolina’s offseason shopping isn’t exciting and fans can be excused for getting anxious. But it’s not yet time to panic. See what kind of deals Gettleman digs up the next few months. If he’s able to hit on some bargains, 2014 – and beyond – will look a whole lot better.")
