Jackson was, however, associated with Theron Shakir, one of the two men charged with the murder. Along with co-defendant Marques Binns, Shakir is a purported member of the Crips. In addition, Shakir, known as "T-Ron," is a rapper who recorded for Jaccpot Records, a label owned by Jackson. The two were close enough that they appear together frequently in photographs -- including pictures posted by Jackson to Instagram while Shakir sat in jail awaiting trial for the teen's execution.

The caption? "Free Trezzy #Real1 #Jaccpot"

Any tiny chance we had to get him probably goes out the window now.

Not so sure, no way we were taking on that contract (the Eagles actually structured it well and only have a slight hit from cutting him, exhibit A on why restructures are damaging long-term), and given the FA climate I doubt he gets near what he was due to make.

I'd still have our odds as pretty low, but if he really liked us as a destination and now he's free to choose + a lower contract amount, I'd say our odds improved, albeit slightly.
