Stat wise the best receiver in VT history. He has a chance to be a really solid NFL receiver.

 

And VT joined Illinois as the only major Div. 1 program to offer him out of high school. Crazy to think about considering what he accomplished in college. Are you a VT fan? If so then you'll know Eddie Whitley who was picked up by the Saints towards the end of last season.

 

I played football and graduated with both of them. And neither one of them was the best player on our HS team. That honor goes to Robert Blanton who went to Notre Dame and currently plays for Minnesota.

Crazy amount of talent we had. It was almost unfair the beatings we'd put on some teams.

 

But yeah, Boykin is a stud and I couldn't be any happier for him. Super nice guy, too.

You guys beat us in Lambeau the last time you were up here. Don't be afraid. We beat you guys in Newton's rookie year in week 2 but that was a tough win for us as you guys gave us all we could handle.

Pump your brakes there cheeseman. We are not afraid to play the packers anytime, anywhere. Now, if we have a choice between early season or December then we hands down prefer the early season.

Really wish we would have played you guys last year in the divisional round. I really think it would have been a great hard fought battle in Carolina. It seems like every time we have an opportunity to play you in the postseason we lose a heartbreaker like this year vs SF and 2004 the 4th and 26 game vs the Eagles. I enjoyed watching your team last year and you look like a team on the rise. I hope you repeat that performance this next season. I believe we play you guys next season but not sure where. Always liked the Panthers and their fans.

 

 

Thanks for the good luck last season! Hope you bring us luck this season too!

Yeah I'm a VT fan, Whitley was a darn good player at Tech during his time as well. I've met Boykin face to face once, dude is all class.

You guys started out the year 1-3. The turning point to your season was beating the crap out of the Rams then you had a huge win in Candlestick against SF.

 

 

Actually, it was the game before the Rams. It was the most creative games that I've seen coordinated by Shula. He had a fake pass right and Cam run left. He also had a tight end flea-flicker. The first time that I've even seen that in my life. Clearly they were going for broke and crushed the Vikings 35-10. Having fun doing it as well.
