Auto loan for an older vehicle from a private seller?

Anyone know of a good place to get an auto loan for an older Vehicle? I'm looking at getting a Jeep Wrangler with all the bells and wistles(mostly just for a toy) but it's an '03 and still probably going to run me close to $12k(if I'm lucky) but my bank wont finance anything older then 7 years. so any suggestions?

If I were to buy this same vehicle new i'd have to shell out about $40k(I've looked) and with wranglers there hasnt been too many changes over the last 10 years really makes going for an older model worth it.

the one I'm looking at is a tricked out 03 wrangler rubi with all bells and wistles(lift, tires, roof top carry bars, lights, bumper and tow wench) really a steal of a deal for what it has, and it's got 83k on it. I honestly wasnt looking to buy anything for another month but for the asking price and package I wouldnt forgive myself for not giving it a try.

really wishing I found this a month fromnow and not today, because I dont think its going to be for sale long

See if you get something like that, why would you take it off road on something rough? or heaven forbid roll it....

Yeah but anyone who has the money to buy that could probably afford to buy something cheap just to take off road and tear poo up in. I really just posted that for a laugh though.

naw I got what your meaning I knew that right off.

Personally if money wasnt an option for an off road rig, I'd trick out a Jeep Wrangler unlimited rubicon with a JK-8 kit, if I were to make one it would probably be the only one like that in NC atleast.

    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
