    saints will be starting a guy they just signed off their practice squad at RT for this game. never like to see injuries but hopefully this is an opportunity for Scourton to make some splash plays.

    even if it ticks up a bit, ypg is still like ~25 yards smaller than it was a decade ago. the game has changed.

    passing totals last season were at their lowest level since 2008 with four games left to go this season, the average ypg is even lower-212 ypg average league wide.

    he adds a dimension out of the backfield that this team has sorely needed as well. It’ll probably a be a lesson they keep in mind with the position regardless of where dowdle ends up.

    managed the game really well. Taking the ball was obvious but keeping the ball on the ground with the weather and leaning on the defense proved to be the right choice.

    he gets absolutely blanked versus press and if the opening move doesn’t work he doesn’t run away from anyone. id like to keep him on the roster to see if he gets back into game shape but it’s right to keep him a healthy scratch right now
