He has to have a great year not a great few games...probably gonna have to finish with a winning record too for the first time as well. Front office has all the leverage, havent got much on the return for trading up in the draft no matter what bryce fans want to say. They have no reason to offer an extension right now. All the talk about his personality is just deflection off the talk about money. You can be the nicest guy in the world, it doesnt win games or make you a top 10 QB. They know that, spending all that money on the O line and drafting multiple offensive players in the first round of past drafts says a QB should have better production than what we have seen so far. We have to lean on a run game more to be productive in games rather than a qb we traded up to no.1 for. You can easily draft a more talented QB on a cheaper contract and get the same results bryce has given you so far. Thats the truth.

Imma listen when I get the chance. Stopped by his bar & lounge last weekend and got to see him briefly. He was in and out tho.

Simms sums it up like everybody else. Last year was better but still not good enough for long term. Contract situation sounds a lot like miami. Favorite part: "They just ran the ball up the middle for 5 yards four plays in a row and then there is a wide open receiver to throw to on a corner route. Wow, he is a top 10 qb!" That pretty much sounded like a lot of our fans last season. Lol

True, but as i have been saying. That Rams playoff game saved his ass. I mean they could have had every reason to move on if he had of stunk that up but he didnt. He always does something at the very end to keep from getting kicked out the house. its annoying.

He had no competition and was still benched tho. I dont think you can go off that alone, i think they are doing everything not to cause outside distractions. He is getting every opportunity as long as he is under contract. You forget we gave up way too much not to play him and the media would have a field day if he was on the sidelines because he is their darling boy. Remember the circus when canales benched him year before last? Not what are agree with, im just telling you how i think they are looking at it.

Again....Nico was a 400 yd receiver before stroud got there. Plus he is constantly in and out the lineup due to injury which would be a huge deal from panther fans if he was here. Dell didnt play at all last year and diggs season was also cut short due to injury that same year. Lets also add in the o line and run game they have never given stroud and somehow they still generate enough offense for 3 straight playoff appearances while he also is still putting up better stats than bryce with different offensive coaches.

Its worse than last year and there is no 200 yard rushing savior to save the team when they start slow again. Better hope the lil reaper can step up his game this year or else the season will be over before you know it.

His Rookie year was a historical, so naturally he wasnt gonna repeat it especially not with the issues texans had on offense but that is somehow considered regeression in a naysayers eyes. On the flip side bryce has improved based off being the absolute worst his rookie year, so anything better than that is considered improvement. Great logic by those folks.

Not the same type a receiver...This guy gets downfeld. Bryce has yet to have any type of real productivity with a receiver thats a long route techincian.
