  1. Past hour
  2. Grab him in the first, get that extra year of contract possibility out of him and set things in stone. Mills, Morgan, Beason, Kuechly. Continue the tradition.
  3. Anything that takes a bit of the turd sheen off of the day to day life anymore has to cost more money. fug it.
  4. surely Tepper is going to follow suit on the other F- field conditions teams and improve the playing surface with real grass right? he’s not going to spend all this money on free agents and risk a non contact injury on his green Taylor swift plastic surely?
  5. Unsure how "most affordable" is written to refer to the $500 seats.
  6. There’s a lot of later round QBs that had disappointing 2025 seasons (this draft and maybe next). I really hope we are looking at those guys. Could be cheap backups and if you grab the right one, maybe a future starter. I’m worried, like you, that we’ll extend Young. I’m sorry, but outside of the Rams games, he’s still not the guy and the Rams went all out in FA to find multiple CBs as that was their weak link.
  7. Prices increase 12% for the coming season (fresh off a... [checks notes] "playoff run") Per the Observer, Panthers increased their season-ticket prices by 6% in 2025 and by 4% in 2024. https://bsky.app/profile/charlotteobserver.com/post/3mgpobbfz4n2v
  8. https://overthecap.com/free-agency I also wonder about Cushenberry (C). He had an achilles in 2024 and injuries in 2025. He is 28, smart, and has a lot of starting experience. On a cheap, "Prove it" contract... This is not to suggest that the Panthers do not draft a C.
  9. Yes. Versatile and has played LT (late in 2025) pretty well. He would be a nice player who is young and could covert to G if needed, or play T.
  10. Sure. Sign or draft a backup QB in the mid to late rounds with actual NFL caliber physical tools that might be able to push Bryce. We've signed another QB who doesn't have an NFL arm and the mid to late round rookie we've been tied to is another guy whose main concern is NFL arm strength.
  11. I will also say if we grabbed FS Thienemen in the 1st I wouldn't be pissed at that either, if Saadiq and Freeling are gone by 19
  12. Nobody is fluffing howell. Simply saying Pickett has literally the worst skill set of all FA qbs. Picking him just shows they dont want anyone in camp to outshine baby bryce. Its as simple as that
  13. Idk on Brissett, I think part of the motivation of the FO is to get younger (relative to Dalton) and try to take a shot on a guy that had talent and could possibly still develop, which is why they didn’t go the route of a Mariota or whoever. It’s just they went with Kenny Pickett which I think a lot of people don’t think he will develop which I tend to agree with, but the motivation I think is there, it’s just a difference of opinion. And to be fair the whole league seems to value Pickett over Howell, Lance, etc. Pickett was last traded for a 5th rd. pick, Howell was last traded for something less than a 5th round pick (Eagles sent a 5th but also got a 6th back), and Lances last contract was just $2m.
  14. Not even close to the level of Howell.. People have been fluffing Howell here for years. Pickett was hyped up around here for one offseason and a day.
  15. Sign Nijman back, or a LT in general. Draft Monroe Freeling in Rd 1. Extreme best case he's the starter at LT. Worst case he's backing up LT and RT while eventually taking over one of those spots in 2027. One of the LBs in Rd 2 Draft a center in Rd 3, and/or Pat Coogan on Day 3. Superb Owl
  16. I've been wondering this myself. That's a lot of cheddar out there for two players so far. And Pickett now, too (although that's a drop in the bucket comparatively). It will take a lot of restructuring to get this done. Maybe there's enough desire for people on the team to stay that this is going to be a possibility. There's a good vibe happening now. But sometimes the ground vibrates right before a cave-in.
  17. I think that would be a good fit. Lewis has a higher upside than Hunt. I think if Hunts contract gets too heavy, this would be a good option.
  18. Brother, you said it’s not even a question that Sam Howell would come in and legitimately compete with Bryce right away when he couldn’t even beat out Tanner McKee last year. Kenny Pickett was ahead of McKee on the depth chart when he was with the Eagles, but Howell couldn’t do the same. I don’t even like Pickett, it’s just this raging about coddling and not bringing in competition when the examples of the competition given are arguably worse. And if it’s possible the FO thinks Pickett is a better QB than Howell, doesn’t that mean they ARE serious about upgrading the QB room? I’m seriously not trying to defend Pickett here, I would prefer Howell for less money, I just don’t get the conclusions that are being jumped to.
  19. Yeah, the Howell glazing has always been hilarious.
  20. We still need starters at LT and C, so I expect 2 of our first 3 to be O-line. And I'm a big believer in always drafting a late round guard and hoping for the best!
  21. Dan is adding first round talent to this team! Phillips, Lloyd, and even Pickett were all first rounders. We're not so devoid of talent now. Have a good draft this year and our foundation can be in place for the next 5 years. Canales and Evero have no excuses for next year. I EXPECT playoffs for next year.
  22. I guess a better question would be, if Jacoby Brisset was available and willing to sign here for the same amount as KP, do you think the Panthers would have signed him? 3366/23/8 94.1 QB rating in 25'. I don't, judging by the way the leadership has acted. Nothing they do says we're trying to get better. It all says we're trying to keep Bryce from feeling pressured. That's what I see and therein lies my problem.
