  1. Past hour
  2. if DC/Morgan move on from him we can recruit talent now... the position no longer looks like a dumpster fire
  3. No, Baker and his receiver weren’t on the same page and Baker threw it at Ransoms feet, which he caught. I’ll take it all day everyday. It wasn’t some master defensive alignment that fooled Baker. He just threw it when he shouldn’t have.
  4. He's been good at protecting the ball overall the second half of the season it seems.
  5. scoring points is whatever, who cares about that take a look at the percentage of "big time throws", on 2nd and long, in the 3rd quarter, of away games, while trailing by 7 or more, and get back to me alright
  6. while I hate bend but don't break defenses... the D was in a spot for the INT because of the soft shell coverage
  7. Happiness isn't based on or determined by who you pull for or against.Having said that no matter how much I may disagree with things I would never pull against my teams in any sport.
  8. I agree...but honestly I thought it was even if we didnt make the playoffs. The team has been bad so long you take whatever improvement you can get and build off it.
  9. vegas had us at 6.5 wins which I smashed the over in the offseason and collected on! This was a 7 win team expectation, nobody had us at 10 wins
  10. I would stay TMac has a good chance of winning ROTY, but there are other contenders if they finish the season strong: - Tyler Warren and Harold Fannin Jr have been impressive TE rookies. Both have similar stats. Warren has been hurt by Jones’ injury, but a few strong performances with Rivers might get him back in contention. Fannin is becoming more involved in the Browns’ offense and looks like he could be a big time weapon for them. - Jaxson Dart and Tyler Shough as QBs will always get consideration even if they haven’t played a full slate of games. I’m not sure they will win, but if Shough finishes strong with big performances against Tennessee and Atlanta, it could sway people to vote for him. - TreVeyon Henderson is a possibility but will need to clear concussion protocol to add to his stats. I think he’s an unlikely option. For me, I’d love to see TMac win ROTY, but it’s going to go down to the wire in my opinion.
  11. Everyone played like poo under Rhule. Come on man. I can see all of the fair weathers are coming back to the forums when we get shitposts like this.
  12. This is poor form man. Baker was brought into a bad situation with an absolutely abysmal coach that was only rescued when Steve Wilks came on and took the role of man in the room. It isn’t Bakers fault, it isn’t Sam’s Fault. Rhule was genuinely one of the worst coaches in NFL history, and Sam had come from the Jets who are picking first yet again and Baker came from the Browns who are picking top 5 yet again. Both came in, both kept their head down and worked while here despite all of that noise.
  13. Most people expected we should be at 10 wins. It’s year three of a quarterback on a rookie contract. Year three is the year you make a playoff push and year four is the year you make a Superb Owl run. If you can’t do it then, and the QB isn’t a Josh Allen or Mahomes, you may have screwed yourself into mediocrity.
  14. Dan Morgan really knocked this draft class out of the park after a suspect 2024 draft. Props where props are due.
  15. He will win I’m sure of it. No other offensive rookie has made a bigger impact.
  16. Which is great for being in games late, not great for fans. But you know what? The only teams the Panthers have really struggled hard with this year are AFC. If we can get to the playoffs, and get a home playoff game, I firmly believe we could get to the Championship. We’ve beaten both the Rams and Packers, each of which we’d play in the divisional most likely.
  17. It’s very possible. Darnold is finally who he was drafted to be with some good coaching and good receivers.
  18. I could see this happening too. 1) We're at home which "should" be a plus (5-2 in Charlotte this season). 2) We are going into this game realizing that a win will clinch our first winning season since 2017 and gain a playoff spot to boot. 3) We seem to play up and down to our competition this year. Three of our loses are to teams that are at the bottom of the their division (Arizona/New Orleans--twice ) Three of our win were against teams with the highest ranked offenses this year (Dallas, GB, Los Angeles). The 3 teams that thoroughly whipped us this year have 11 wins or more (Jacksonville, New England, Buffalo). I will say that I don't think Seattle will "overlook us". I just looked at the schedule. The top 3 teams in the NFC WEST have all clinched a playoff spot...but the division is still up for grabs.
  19. If Shough is even considered for OROY over TMac (or several other players for that matter) then it will be the biggest case of QB bias of all time. The award is TMac's to lose, IMO.
  20. My favorite part about scourton is it looks like he can be the vocal leader that we are missing. Horn and Brown are obviously our leaders but they are soft spoken. Nic can be the juice to get the team going.
  21. Yea, Hope we can make a 'We Win Fug Sam Darnold Thread!' next week.
  22. Bryce has improved considerably this season. Hell, he's improved since mid-season. He's actually taking shots down the field and his accuracy on those throws has improved a ton since his rookie year. Anyone who can't see that he has gotten better flat-out has an agenda and would rather be 'right' about Bryce than see the team succeed with him.
  23. Yeah, but Ace-hole is trying to call people out for "hating," and actually rooting for Bryce to fail. Huddlers, unless they're just stupid, aren't actually rooting for Bryce, XL, Evero or anyone to actually fail, they're actually rooting for the opposite. That's what Joe is saying. You can criticize players, even to the point of wanting them "upgraded," without wishing that they fail. Love and hate, criticism and praise, are not necessarily a static propositions either. At the end of the day, Bryce has been clutch this season at times. He's played like sh¡t at times as well. I try to live in reality. I don't think Bryce is going anywhere based upon perceived improvement. If you gave me a button to eject him, I'd probably push it with little hesitation, as I don't believe that our offense should be limited by his physical inadequacies, but I'm not the one in charge. Knowing human nature and the FO, I can easily see them giving Bryce (Evero and even Legette) another season. With that being highly probable, I think we should target a young free agent with some upside that has shown incremental improvement (e.g., Trey Lance or Malik Willis), and I'd also target Drew Allar as a day three priority. This way, we can still push Bryce and have some back-up plans.
