  1. Past hour
  2. They are practicing. Putting in their contracts that they can’t practice outside of what the CBA allows the team to do would be an excellent way to stay the worst team in the league forever.
  3. Banking on a 2nd round rookie seems bold, but I guess this season will be about development.
  4. Today
  5. Jaycee Horn and Lathan Ransom training together with @proactivesp #noooticing https://x.com/justblande/status/1940907140648223126?s=46
  6. They plan to start Kalkbrenner and see what they've got in him.
  7. Point stands though. Tough to sell another team on the idea of KK through 29-30 season. And then ask for them to give you something for the privilege? I think if he can be moved, he will be. Seems like Rod is done with him.
  8. he's a scout https://www.panthers.com/team/ownership_business/caden-mccloughan
  9. Draft bust, most definitely for sure. Misunderstood what you were saying. My bad.
  10. Yep if Rantanen hadn't taken so long to make a deal with Dallas, Boeser would have been a Cane at the deadline. Just ran out of time making the final details work out.
  11. I meant when we acquired him he was a full on bust for Montreal, heck considering he was a #3 pick he is a bust. I wont argue he would be a serviceable low end #3 center but lets be real a guy drafted #3 should be much better.
  12. They almost traded him and the Dallas first at the trade deadline for Boeser.
  13. If he’s fine as a 3rd line guy he would be easy to trade. Nobody wants him lol.
  14. I wouldn't even say KK has been a bust, he was signed to be the 3rd center to replace Staal with potential to be the 2nd center. Staal didn't retire so it forced KK to the 2nd line where he shouldn't be. He's fine as a 3rd line guy.
  15. There is no comparison between the two..... KK was a bust, Miller had a rough year in laviolettes system but he does produce.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Watching this you could already tell the OC/staff had changed from '23 to '24. The playcalling looks much better. Makes me wonder what concepts Canales will build on. I can already imagine the slants being dialed up. He also looks faster here. His burst is more evident ..that ankle could have definitely been a lingering situation. And the crazy thing is, his hands, ball skills and hips are so good he probably could have played both ways at Arizona. He was impressive with it at Servite. I actually like his db clips more than his wr ones in high school.
  18. Burns contract with Colorado is a base of 1m with 3m in incentives.
  19. Hertl might still be a possiblity. Vegas is going after Rasmus Andersson and would need to shed salary to make it happen.
  20. Wonder what we could get back? I’d definitely entertain trading him.
  21. That’s what I have been wondering this offseason!!?? Goalie is a must
  22. He played forever, but was probably only top 3 in just 1 season.
  23. SJ overpaid because they have to hit the cap floor. Burns played well in the Washington and FL series, but overall did not look good last year. Colorado is a good place for him to be a 3rd line LD, which is what he probably should have been for us
