When you don't have a QB you don't have a chance so yeah, if the QB you invested massively into giving up a lot of roster building capital to acquire sucks then yeah, that's your biggest problem in terms of roster issues. Keep making excuses for Bryce and coming up with new and increasingly entertaining mental gymnastics to try to cover for him but it is what it is. We would have hope if we had a QB. We were ass Cam's rookie year but we were all excited because we knew we had a QB. All other roster deficiencies are easy fixes compared to QB.

Bryce is what you call reliable ass. Generally each game you know he is going to be ass. To get a win you need great days from other units. ST at his point, just had a bad day. Which happens. Bryce obviously isn't responsible for the errors of others. But he can be part of putting folks in tough spots given the game. but yes, Bryce Young is 100% the biggest issue in Carolina. It's a QB league. When your QB stinks, it has a negative impact on virtually every aspect of football.

The coach has to show that he is indeed a head coach. If he's going to blame the qb but does everything to protect said qb inorder to hide his weaknesses. Then how do you show his weaknesses? You do so by making said qb throw the ball regardless. Let him prove that he can or cannot run the coaches offense. Then the coaches ass is covered. Hiding your qb only leaves questions on whether said coach knows what he's doing. It's not rocket surgery.

Practice is most weeks high point. None of these people knows what it takes to be a winner or stay a winner. A cheerleader for a HC makes such a soft team

4-3 isn't fixing our problem. We have no 4-3 DEs and Scourton and Princely were basically wasted picks if we go back to a 4-3. The problem isn't the alignment, the problem is we don't have NFL caliber LBs and our DC is trash.

True but that's not saying much. I haven't seen anyone who jumps off the screen at QB. Mendoza has his moments but rarely has to beyond his first read. Sellers is a physical freak, but hasn't played like it. Nussmeier looks good against college defenses but doesn't exactly tick all the physical boxes himself. A taller Bryce Young? Dante Moore looks like a good college QB surrounded by a lot of talent who will be overwhelmed in the pros. Drew Allar... very similar to Sellers. Has the physical tools but doesn't always play like it. Carson Beck is erratic as hell, even if he also has many of the traits you look for. If I HAD to use a 1st round pick on one of those guys it's going to be Sellers just based off physical traits but he's not remotely ready to start as a rookie and I'm fairly convinced he's going to end up returning to school, though not necessarily South Carolina.

There’s no other position on the team that would have as big an impact with simply league average play as a new qb. But sure keep harping on backup guard play. The hundred dollar answer to the million dollar problem.

I mean, there really is cope coming from y'all. Did Bryce play well yesterday? Not at all. Was he the reason special teams gave up 167yds on 3 punt returns? Not at all. Was he the reason Chandler Zavala and Brandon Walton were ass? Nope. Was he the reason that the LBs continue to be doo doo? Negative. Hell, at this rate he's definitely not getting the bonus option picked up and it's going to be back to drafting "the guy" in April 2026 (2027 at the latest). He just hasn't been good enough in year 3. How in the world could you of all people call that cope?
