  1. Past hour
  2. We absolutely should get an experienced OT on a 1 year deal. Decker, Josh Jones, heck maybe Beachum. Or just bring Yosh back. Another slot defender like McCreary would be nice too. Then the focus could be on the draft.
  3. I am hearing any one of: Okonkwo, N'joku, Goedert All just depends on how the dominoes fall. https://x.com/dixonsydernfl/status/2031730206122070467?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  4. JUST IN: The TE market should be moving along today, per league source Watch out for the #Panthers, #Bengals, #Commanders, and #Dolphins https://x.com/dixonsydernfl/status/2031729096665747704?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  5. They saw the market for Hendrickson was not as robust as expected and made a business decision. I’d respect it more if they just came out and said “We’re playing by the rules and we don’t need a reason to cancel the trade before 5pm Wednesday. That’s our window to evaluate all aspects of the trade and we decided it wasn’t in our best interests.” Don’t give us all this failed physical bs you just come off more slimy.
  6. @HeelsPanthersCanes you going to ride with me today?
  7. Curious indeed. We have to be eyeballing a C in the draft (guessing third round).
  8. Harold Fannin is a stud. No shame in getting passed by him on the depth chart, plus Njoku was banged up.
  9. I was talking about the team trading for a player with full knowledge of the medical history, getting clowned nationally for giving up too much, then finding an excuse with the “failed physical”. That is exactly what happened in both situations. And a “failed physical” basically means whatever the team wants it to mean. If there was a solid reason, the Ravens would give it, just like when they cancelled a trade because they found a tumor in the guys brain during the physical. That’s a legit failed physical and they were more than happy to provide the reason and not take blame publicly for no reason. There’s nobody anywhere saying Crosby’s rehab is “not progressing” and the only report we have, from his actual surgeon no less, is that he is ahead of schedule.
  10. Everyone knew Crosbys knee wasn’t going to be 100% till June/july. Sounds like the Ravens got cold feet. Couldn’t handle giving up two firsts when they could sign Trey and keep them .
  11. The assumption was the ravens were going to rework Crosbys contract and extend him
  12. Wonder if this impacts Raven's trades with other teams the next few years. I doubt teams will completely ice them out, but they could require the Ravens pay a bit extra for this bush league poo
  13. Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear." So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because? Speculation indeed.
  14. Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
  15. The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
  16. The salary cap is a myth. We'll just move money around as needed.
  17. I think Hendrickson is far more expensive, no? Maxx's cap hit would have been $7 million this year. If they were planning on using Crosby's injury as an out and playing both sides to see if they could secure Hendrickson that was pretty sick. Ravens rep def going to take a hit though on dealing in good faith.
  18. 33-33 in mid March. I'll take that progress.
  19. I think once they realized that they could get Hendrickson for under 30 mill, they got buyer's remorse. Definitely doesn't look good for the Ravens
  20. OR they realized they could get Hendrickson for less money and keep their draft picks
  21. well, i guess Crosby's health issues were a real concern.
