  1. Past hour
  2. They all played double the average NFL career if not more. Thielen quadrupled it.
  3. Win this one, I feel solid we lock up the metro.
  4. It shows how short the actual span of a NFL career actually is. We get caught up with the few guys that play until 40-years old, but that's an extraordinary tiny fraction of the League. What you may or may not have intentionally done there is show how we quickly move off guys like that but are stubbornly hanging onto Bryce. His new running mate, Kenny Pickett, drafted just one year earlier is already on his 4th or 5th team. Kenny isn't horrible, but he's not good enough to be a franchise QB. Some franchises get it, chalk it up as a miss and move on. Others double down on trying to make things work until the relationship completely deteriorates. *cough* Dolphins and Cardinals *cough*
  5. Today
  6. Winner of 7 vs 8 seed game gets 7th seed. Loser of that game plays against winner of 9 vs 10 seed game. Winner of that game (loser of 7 vs 8 against winner of 9 vs 10) gets 8th seed. So in reality if you make it to the 7 vs 8 game, it’s win and in for your team. Lose that game and you get another shot at getting in. If you have to play the 9 vs 10 game, lose once you are gone. Win the first game as a 9 vs 10 competitor and you still have to win again to get in.
  7. DJ Chark, Hayden Hurst, and Bradley Bozeman all started for the Carolina Panthers during Bryce Young’s rookie season. All 3 have announced retirement after two years. Scott Fitterer was that bad. And his #1 receiver Thielen also just retired
  8. Something along those lines if what I've heard is correct. They want him to be able to save face because of his history with the University.
  9. Trade for Mims now that the Broncos got Waddle
  10. If this situation unfolded I would trade back with a smile. Numerous great options there.
  11. Nope. It's bizarre to me how viscerally some people react to the notion that some people have actual principles.
  12. It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
  13. I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice. 2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that? He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things. Needs a good draft.
  14. K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
  15. Don't care if they win or not. Hire the High Point coach (go watch his post game speech) and bring Martin, Anderson, and Johnston with you. Way better than any PG we have, SF we have or shooter we have.
  16. Nah, not me. That's why I said I'd be done with the Panthers if they hired Sean Payton and I meant it.
  17. Oh so it is the person you do not like. I would be very happy if UNC could pull him away from Florida. I care how he coaches. Could give two shits how he is as a person.
  18. Dude. They're the defending champions and are still in this year's tournament. Meanwhile the Heels have Hubert Doofus Davis as their coach (for now). You're talking about prestige. I'm talking about right now. Florida is the better program.
  19. lol Rockets tried their damndest to choke it away and they somehow pull it out on a buzzer beating put back. Let’s go. Jazz also making it a game with Philly as of now
  20. I'm not sure that no one wanted to come to Carolina. We were Cash strapped for a while and looking at signing cheap help. But Dan Morgan is jumping on players while the Panthers are hot. Players want some of that attention and the opportunities it brings. Hopefully the days of bad mouthing the Team's Ownership, coaches and players are a thing of the past. But, history with our fans tells me a different story...
  21. You're severely misunderstanding how NIL works. BYU, literally a non-brand for any coach, recruit or just casual fan, landed the highest paid player in America. And if "budgets were equal", the entertainment company I currently run would be Disney. We live in a world where Michael Jordan and his influence/money could buy us anything we wanted. And he's not willing, so be prepared for all the mediocrity. Hire the High Point coach, let him bring his PG with him.
  22. High point, the best team in North Carolina
  23. Good hit, I bet 0 bball today. I went ahead and put my parlay in for soccer tomorrow since the first game I like starts at 730. Como over shots on target is probably the biggest stretch so it may be over before I wake up lol. All the wins I feel pretty good about if you want to tail those
  24. Yeah magic choked that away. Out of the group of 5 philly and Orlando are clearly trending down and Charlotte Atlanta Miami trending up. I'd expect that to be the 6-8 and I would really like to see them at least finish 7th
  25. Ehh I doubt it I think he probably does want to just be a Warrior lifer and continue to contend with them and extend the dynasty/legacy there. I can absolutely see him coming here if the Warriors blow it up but I think he’s fine trying to run it back next year with a healthy Butler, etc. I think it’ll blow up in their faces and if so then he’s a UFA and could just sign here then if he wants and we’re truly contending Magic loss was huge, a questionable out of bounds call with 4 seconds left led to a 3 pointer to win it for LA. Hawks pulled away big on the Warriors’ scrubs, no surprise. Rockets Heat is a tight one. We really need the Rockets to win it. Heat would have a tiebreaker over us but they have a hellish schedule coming up and I could see us finishing a game above them. We have tiebreaker over Hawks and Orlando. Philly TBD. 1.5 games out of 6-8 seeds as of now…
