Yeah the Wilson ACL thing is and was a wild situation that is ultimately not an issue but we apparently didn't have the right intel to clear him.

A lookback at Morgan's first draft
SmokinwithWilly replied to R0CKnR0LLA's topic in Carolina Panthers
Don't disagree but if we were determined to go with a RB, Corum was close in pre draft ranking to Brooks. -

Start who? Brycen? C'mon now Renfrow can't start on the outside, so unless you're starting Brycen or a week 1 inactive in Horn Jr, until Coker comes back, XL has to be the starter by default. Again, this is why you don't trade Thielen, because yes, we had depth before, but depth is only good when you don't lose multiple of your top options, and Thielen and Coker were going to be our #2 and #3 this year, then we lost them 48 hours apart. And when Coker is back, he's the immediate starter on the outside, which I think can even be good for XL, as he could do well from the slot if you scheme some easy passes across the middle to him to let him then use his speed and strength to make plays with the ball in his hands. -
Man you must really hate him. I've never seen someone spend so much of their time trashing someone.

Is Tepper going to clean the house again after this season?
Day1PanthersFan replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
He can fire as many people as he wants, David Tepper is the biggest problem this franchise has He should fire himself, worst owner(football wise) in the league -
He literally took the job knowing his main goal was to fix Bryce as a certified QB whisperer lol. That is the only reason he was hired

Highest rate of incompletions due to WR error
Chief Keek replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm looking forward to the next narrative the Bryce supports try to spin up. -
Breaking down their math. 3 incompletions were on the WR. 14 incompletions not on the WRs. certainly doesn’t add up to the WRs let him down and that’s why we had 70 passing yards with 8 minutes left in the game

Canales needs to concentrate on coaching
HeelsPanthersCanes replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agreed, we are saying the same thing. I just don't think Canales not calling plays would make any difference on how bad he, this team, or our fans are. -
10% of that 17.6% had to be XL...maybe more.

How many games before they pull the plug for good
R0CKnR0LLA replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Attributes we need to focus on when searching for our next QB... 1) Can see over the steering wheel when driving 2) Can eat at restaurants without using a booster seat 3) Can ride the rollercoasters at Carowinds If we can find someone who can hit on all 3 of those, might just be onto something -

Haha One thing I know is that I'm not one to complain in retrospect much, only when it's super damn obvious. That draft was soooo damn obvious. So f*cking clear what we needed to do. And it was hard to stomach for a lot of us. I was not a Legette fan, just had to accept it and hope he was aight. It was just like Mingo. A guy most consensus had late 2nd/early 3rd at best. If anything, Legette was a bigger reach than Mingo. And we all felt it for some time after that draft. It didn't feel good. If anyone goes back, I was a Frazier, Sainristil, Pearsall, and Kneeland fan. Could've gone BPA at so many critical spots rather than a cheerleading "fun" local interview. I'll never forget an Athletic Pod with Brugler breaking down Legette. He mentioned how he had spoke with a lot of teams and most of the league had him highest, a 3rd rounder. There was one or two teams that had him much higher than others. Voila.

I didn't say SB contender. Far from it. The D is quietly every bit as bad as the offense. The head coach is responsible for more than just the offense.

Jared Feinberg's Panthers v Jaguars film review
CRA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
As far as the Mays needing to start because of the snap issue….it probably would just be better to not have your C snapping literally every ball as the play clock dances between 1 and 0. I’m sure a lot of those high snaps were just largely tied to desperately trying to avoid taking a penalty. Which isn’t so much a C issue but an offensive operational issue. -
Relax. We are off to a slow start.

The Panthers’ Bryce Young Problem is Getting Old
Cpt slay a ho replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean this has been clear as day for awhile to be honest, I know he had the good play towards the end last year but there’s far too many games where he is struggling and that’s being nice, to pass for over 100 yards. In the modern nfl that’s just unacceptable period, not a winning recipe in any shape or form -
Canales needs to concentrate on coaching
HeelsPanthersCanes replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Disagree. Explain to me how Canales calling (or not calling) plays changes that this team is void of talent and management. Whether Canales is voicing the calls into huddles, or standing by as a listener, has literally zero impact on this team being good. If you think Canales passing a headset to another person makes us a Superbowl contender, good luck with that model. -
Seemed like the running plays he dialed up last season worked well. Hubbard balled out. Our offensive issues strictly stem from the passing game. Sorry but it is really hard to evaluate Canales and his play calling when the QB running the offense makes terrible decisions and has a career passing average of 175 yards per game.

Jared Feinberg's Panthers v Jaguars film review
LinvilleGorge replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bingo. At the end of the day, teams aren't afraid of Bryce beating them deep. They're treating the entire field as if it's the redzone. I doubt this play was about them preparing for that specific concept as much as it was simply about not fearing Bryce burning them deep. When DBs aren't worried about getting burned they can play really aggressively.
