  1. Past hour
  2. The Bucs have been struggling badly as of late so the Aints beating them doesn’t really say much about the Aints being any good. Even Shough (or however you spell it) wasn’t even good and the Bucs still beat themselves. We beat ourselves in the first matchup. If we can take down the Rams the Aints should be easy for us if we’re locked in and dialed in and guys don’t overlook them or assume it’ll be a gimme like last time. And need Bryce to not be absolutely awful like he was in the first matchup. But I do feel good about this game coming off the bye, I think we’ll finally get a convincing win with all 3 phases playing well (Atlanta blowout was good but the O really didn’t do much that game). Hopefully we take care of business as we should and the Falcons can spoil the Bucs this Thursday so we can see what this team is made of at home in a couple weeks. I’m still very very far from sold on Canales/Morgan, despite the surprisingly solid year we’ve had so far. Bryce I am sold on not being the answer, but the more Canales can get out of him the more confidence I’ll have that he can help us develop a true franchise QB
  3. Horn can't fall again, they need to stop the run and they have to keep Shough contained in the pocket. Simple
  4. Technically, he wasn't in the league when the Ravens called, but for discussion's sake Iet's assume that he was. The Ravens thing wasn't exactly a negative either. It's all about perspective, empathy and really having an open mind---and an independent mind, not necessarily given into trite, good-boy-bad-boy narratives of an institution that has had problems of varying degrees on its own as a whole. As for Sanders' abilities during college or three games into his pro career, sure I've seen better, but I've seen a lot worse. In my estimation, he deserves an honest chance just like any kid that's drafted into the league. He may not get it, due to the nature of the beast, but it's not because he's been stinking up the field.
  5. He has not showed himself to be TO. Not close. Your baggage, for some reason. This is tiresome. He doesn’t seem like that bad a kid. We know dad has a huge mouth and ego. I haven’t kept up to see what extent Deion has inserted himself into that situation in Cleveland but it seems like if he were causing trouble we would hear about it. He was a 5th round pick I think and was embarrassed nationally on draft day and also with the Falcons coach’s son prank calling him, it doesn’t appear that he has had an easy time of it and is getting a chance to play. I’ll judge him on what actually happens moving forward.
  6. Saints run D has kinda turned to ass since they played us. They allowed Baker to run for 40 something yards yesterday and Tampa to run for 180-and their run offense is horrible. I think you stick to the game plan against the rams/falcons. Run but if they start stacking the box get the ball downfield.
  7. You could say that about almost any team owner regardless of the sport. That does not diminish the good they have done.
  8. I’ve prayed for days like this. Canales has them practicing on their 1st day back.
  9. I thought i had the worst takes on this board, you take the cake, son...
  10. I haven’t looked at their tax returns but are they not professionals? With Masters and PhDs? I seriously doubt he lacked for any material stuff with that kind of base. I could be wrong but did they not move the family to facilitate his football dream? Pretty sure he was given every advantage they could give him. Deion is more connected and embedded in the football world and doesn’t lack financial resources, but Bryce’s parents were well funded.
  11. This. Bryce has to be at the very least “mediocre Bryce” The saints are going to do what they did the last time; lock in on the run, and make Bryce beat them. If he can’t do it; there will be alot of posters going back on hiatus and disappearing again
  12. Is Op Alice from the Saints board? He's looks similar and has a lot of the same traits...
  13. If we lose it's almost surely on Canales having a BY only gameplay that doesn't adjust.
  14. We’ll still have to run the ball. Keep them honest. Need throws out of jumbo/2 TE sets. Play action and bootlegs.
  15. I don't know that anyone's expecting anything like that. Most are predicting the fifth year option but anything beyond that is speculation. Dan Graziano pondered the possibility of a short-term, mid-range contract but that's it.
  16. I think a W this week and the rest of the games is squarely on our shoulders and depends on it we can get on the same page answering one vital question: Do we try to convince our guys that they are 17 point underdogs for each game? OR Convince them that, despite the uniforms, the opposing team is actually the Atlanta Falcons?
  17. The Saints have Bryce's number and that building is cursed. Bryce needs to tap into something supernatural to win this game lol
  18. They're going to follow the game plan of any team vs Bryce. Make him throw. If he has a good day, we can win. If not, the board will be heated again after the game.
  19. The thing with the Ravens wasn't exactly a positive. As far as his abilities, his college tape showed a guy that made occasional highlight reel plays but didn't put together full game performances. So far, what pro analysis I've seen looks about the same.
  20. So they will reward a player with a huge contract for being middle of the pack by year 3. I do not see it--I think mediocre is worse than being bad. I am OK with this if they start developing "Plan B." Right now we dont have a plan B.
  21. We are discussing possibilities. But most of us think this particular "possibility" would be a really bad idea. And not only because of his attitude but because while highlight reel scouting of him might paint a rosy picture, bfull game scouting tells a different story.
  22. If we can beat the Rams we can beat any team in the league. Just depends on which team (specifically, which Bryce Young) shows up Sunday
  23. Only doing euro soccer and NFL. 2-5 leg parlays that are +100 Win on team soccer and props on NFL Went 6-2 yesterday Lost one on Justin Jefferson 30 yards receiving And the other kelce 25 yards receiving Most legs are -800 to -400 and much more doable with the injury protection offered now
  24. Not well enough to justify what teams have to put up with. Terrell Owens was a phenomenal player, but teams kept dumping him because the drama was too much. Sanders is nowhere close to the kind of player Owens was, so he won't get as much leeway. As far as "the question", when it comes to entitled brats, problem children, headcases, etc. It's only that simple for the fans that have no contact with him other than watching them on TV. For the coaches, players and others that have to deal with them every day, it's not simple at all.
