  1. Past hour
  2. All I know is that it won't be boring. A win or two along the way and this team is suddenly in the mix throughout the season. It has been a long, long time we could say that at Thanksgiving. And that late bye of ours could give us a mighty leg up. If we can make it to it.
  3. True, 12 man money league here….he is still sitting out there. Projected to have a worse fantasy day than Davis Mills, Tyrod Taylor, Mason Rudolph that join him on the waiver wire
  4. Yes to some degree, but the whole point of the video was that that applies to almost all QBs coming out of college. It’s not a Bryce specific problem. And those retreads you’re talking about may not have learned how to take those snaps from center yet either. They’re all growing/going through that process. Bryce absolutely was part of the problem his rookie year (and continues to be part of the problem) but Frank Reich and company committed coaching malpractice. It truly was a lost year. So really the question now is do you give him more time to learn or do you think there’s a better option out there. Maybe there is a retread that would be better for us, and maybe there’s a unicorn college QB that won’t have the same issues. But maybe there’s not. I have no problem having Bryce on the roster next year or the following on his 5th year option if we don’t think there’s a better alternative. Hopefully bring in some competition of course, but give it a bit more time to see if he can improve.
  5. Yeah they obviously do. I wonder if the extra day helps us make that trip a little less taxing. We have been so routined into 1pm EST that an extra 8 hours before kickoff is a wild card too.
  6. Every 12 man fantasy football league I’m in, he’s a free agent and every roster has a QB on their bench. Telling.
  7. Do we include QBs from College and CFL as well, or is it NFL only?
  8. It is better to pick through the rejects that have at least been trained to take a snap from under center. People acted like Bryce’s first year was everyone else, and fail to consider that if he were able to operate efficiently from under center that you get the benefit of play action and a running game. Which we proved the previous season we could operate pretty well using that. But no he couldn’t do that. So the adage that a young QB’s best friend is a good running game couldn’t be true for us. Off the table. He still doesn’t do play action very well.
  9. It’s hard to argue he is unquestionably better than Fields or Rattler. Given the argument for Bryce can’t really be made statistically and they also play for bad teams that’s sort of his tier. Put him where you want to in that tier but the Rattler, Fields, tier is his
  10. Not completely warranted but he was looking like he should be playing guard or RT. I kinda still think he should be playing RT, but he’s at least a guy that you can live with at LT now. He seems to get blown by and give up quick pressures a couple times/game. Not one of those top tier LTs, but kinda tier below with some big time strengths but also weaknesses.
  11. I mean... Easier question is what starting QB is he unquestionably better than? Fields. Gabriel (still very young, so...). Geno (but only because he can't help throwing INTs constantly). Ward (and again this could change). Rattler? I'm not even really sure hahaah.
  12. Jalen Hurts Dak Prescott Jayden Daniels Jordan Love Jared Goff Caleb Williams Baker Mayfield Matthew Stafford Sam Darnold Brock Purdy Josh Allen Drake Maye Tua Joe Burrow Lamar Jackson Trevor Lawrence Daniel Jones CJ Stroud Patrick Mahomes Bo Nix Justin Herbert
  13. The absolutely/no questions list: Stafford, Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, Lamar, Caleb, Jayden, Goff, Love, Maye, Dak, Baker, Darnold, Purdy, Kyler, Lawrence, Jones, Rodgers That’s 19 off the top of my head no question about it. Doesn’t include the SB champ starter or Bo Nix who I argue should be but could see others debating. so he’s highest 22 in my book
  14. This is what we have to know by the end of the season, playoffs be damned. If we offer a huge contract and Bryce turns back into a pumpkin, this franchise is set back another 4 years in our 7 year rebuild.
  15. Makes sense because we're so close to the Bucs in the standings
  16. Its to the point now that it's better just to draft from wherever you're at for a QB unless it's moving a spot or 2. The price is too high to spend years developing and hoping when these guys aren't ready and are making almost or more in college as they would be in the NFL anyway.
  17. Maybe we beat the Saints? but if you acknowledge the weirdness Bryce has with Atlanta…..you sort of have to acknowledge the Saints have him figured out as well as anyone. He is horrific vs the Saints
  18. And it probably won’t be either. It all goes to the QB question and our future, long term, for me. Over whether we get the honor of being Cinderella one and done.
  19. That was my reaction too. He hasn’t looked great this year, but the situation around him sounds terrible. If you draft him and allow him to sit for a year or two, the upside is very high. Sure there is risk involved, but such upside.
  20. Make believe and wild speculation.
  21. It will be whatever it will be. We could very well go out and lose every single game down the stretch, we could go out and win every game too.
  22. Some teams employ multiple. Take the Bengals. Today, Burrow and Flacco are better. the burden here is really on the Bryce hypers.
