They just made rookie contract negotiations with non 1st rounders so much more difficult as they're all going to be trying to get that moving forward now. It's been so nice since the rookie scale was instituted with so few players ever holding out, this feels like it could change things, especially for high 2nd round picks who are going to start asking for this immediately.

Not all Panther fans live in Charlotte. Love my home city, but if my choices are spending money to come back, eat Bojangles and experience a lackluster fan environment, or go to away games in New York, New Orleans, Green Bay (Lambeau), or Europe every couple of years where I can have a unique experience(s) which would you choose?

Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Out vs. Washington Roslo sat for Janky the last 3 games. I would assume it's for size/physicality reasons. With Jank out, it will be interesting to see if Rod goes for firepower (Roslo) or horsepower (Tyson) or both...

If people have an expendable $150k to spend on something like this, then they likely have ways of being around former (or current) players anyways. Plus they also then already have the means to make a trip to games like this while being on their own schedule/agenda as well. Just can't see what the appeal of something like this is for those type of people. Yea, us regular Joe Schmo fans would love a tripe like that, but we don't have the expendable income to do it.

Demographics aside, why would you pay $10k to go to an away game if you're not even going to home games? That's doesn't make any sense.

The demographic this is targeting doesn't go to the games at BOA. And if they do, they aren't sitting in seats where you would see them.

I cannot imagine there's a huge market for $10k trips to see the Carolina Panthers. I mean, BOA looks half empty most games with half of the fans in attendance wearing opposing colors.
