The thing that tells me this is the QB room. It is like he made a deal with Morgan and Canales that Bryce was to be given whatever it takes to succeed. Every decision had him at the center of it. That is why Brooks (his pass catching was suppposed to be best in the RB class). Obviously the heavy focus on upgrading the offensive personnel was part of it. And the lameness of the 3rd QB, bringing back Bryce’s service ginger. That was all dictated if you ask me. And that, is all negotiated by at the top and allows Tepper to look like he took the big step back during the draft and in season, for those concerned about that. The same type of deal as the 3-4, that is a condition of employment.

You never know what you got until it’s gone. We did move too quick in tearing everything down in 2018/2019. Sadly, I don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to this organization. A lot more losing.

We’re not going to win much of anything with charts that look like this. Only 1 pass completed beyond 20 yards. Thats not going to cut it. -

And you absolutely know nfl defensive coordinators see this -
I remember Wilks being very complimentary to Baker for the way he handled himself. Mostly how he responded when Wilks committed to Darnold, I think. We would have been so much better off if Baker had played well and we kept him and DJ and the number 9 and all the rest of our picks.

Yup. 1 completion beyond 20 yards and only 3 past 15 yards. That's in 77 attempts. I'm not one that thinks Bryce needs to hit 40 yard passes but with how defenses play us he needs to push the ball a bit further down field. -
You got that right. Those linebackers are a waste of a roster spot. Wallace looks just like he looked last season. Slow, getting pushed around, completely ineffective.
-
Given the idiocy of our big bass man I wouldn’t bet that he’s gone. He’s liable to win four or five and get those stats where Tepper looks at it and says if he just had a better coach. And here we go again for four more years of the tippy toe offense.
-
Its bad but we're only 2 games in. Just accepting it and doing nothing sends a worse message IMO. We should make a move for a QB that we could at minimum have as legit camp competition next year so we can move on from Dalton.

There was nothing wrong with moving on with Ron and Marty. But who knew Tepper would hold a limbo contest and see just how low under that bar we could go. So he held tryouts.
-
The Panthers would have a better draft if they did a fan poll or Madden sim to decide their pick.

The true meaning of addition by subtraction

I think it was time to move on from Ron and Hurney, the team was stagnant. But I don't think any of us could have anticipated how much worse the organization could have been after them. I guess that's why they say "It could be worse."
-
We will not.

And that's exactly what the charts indicate. I think that he may do it so much because he can't see the field. Those huge NFL lineman are impeding his view. -
Atlanta has the #2 D and the #10 O after 2 games. Now, I'm not saying that is actually an accurate representation of them this early BUT it's hard to argue a bad team (like we are an actually bad team) could would be able to appear as such after 2 games no matter the competition.

Bryce really doesn't throw go balls. He throws sideline fades or underthrows. -

Why don't you address the football? You know why you won't? Because you can't. I will give you that "self awareness." How about you address your own hypocrisy? Stop "Trumping," talking about a trumped up side issue and address Bryce's continued lack of success at doing his job? -

His physical attributes aren't going to change on a new team so I have no idea how he would pan out elsewhere but I can logically assume those issues he has had with processing which was supposed to be his key selling point before the draft would follow him. He was also supposed to be someone who thrives when the play breaks down but he has been inconsistent at best on that and at times horrific. I think where we each take a fork in the road on the determination of Bryce Young currently is you seem to still be treating him as a rookie and not a third year QB still repeating the same mistakes while showing that he has no arm talent to overcome even the slightest bit of adversity. I've said all along his rookie year and his sophomore season that I would be willing to overlook his interceptions if he was pushing the ball downfield consistently and even if he turned the ball over forcing a pass here and there to keep defenses honest I would accept it. But he has nothing. There is no deep passing game here. He threw the ball 55 times in Arizona which was 30 more times than Kyler Murray and only had a little over 100 more passing yards than him. Legitimately you should read that again and ponder it. That is embarrassingly atrocious. Circumstances here are not ideal with the WR's and OL but we cannot normalize this. It is horrendous. And we need to swallow our pride and begin scouting QB's for the 2026 draft. In the meantime this cannot continue on much longer for the sake of the locker room. And the upcoming schedule isn't going to get any better. If there is a silver lining to any of this we are going to find out just who Dave Canales really is throughout the rest of the season. He isn't getting a pass either. -
I don't hate it but..... eeeh it would take acquiring Kaprizov without giving up svech to make rod try Jarvis at 2C. Svechnikov/Aho/Kaprizov Ehlers/Jarvis/Stankoven
