  2. interesting podcast. Did my best to summarize 1 none understand why rico isnt getting 100% of snaps 2 dalton is seasoned veteran and for this game, could he more of a challenge for bills than young Better arm and Familiar with mcdermott defense. Has seen everything Impressed with Tet and Panthers do not have bad receivers and impressed by size 3 not impressed with bills passed game and Allen is being held back because of it. bills do not seem to have a consistent vertical passing game as in past. No intermediate More Short passes for YAC and that hurts Allen Could be to control pace and tempo of the game given the bills defensive weaknesses Need intermediate to stretch zone defenses 4 bills have several returning from DL from suspension this game on defense that could help 5 atlanta beat bills offense by blitzing and played ton of man coverage. No structured intermediate passing game for bills Bills had no answer for atlanta defense either blitzes and man to man coverage Rushed 5 or more on over 30% if Allen’s drop backs 6 compliments the panthers defense Up and coming but has issues. Last in pressure on qb Last in DVOA and coverage of TEs
  3. jesus christ, what weird subforum did I stumble upon where people are talking like Dalton is this incredible back up that is going to throw for 400 yards and 4 TD's like we haven't seen him in this role before, and that there is this master plan to fake Bryce's high ankle sprain in order to bench him during a winning season with favorable stats?
  4. It is strange, but no less surreal than him being the 1.1 in the NFL draft. If I were in the situation the team is in, I would be Not want to aggravate that injury and would be overly cautious. He needs to be fully healthy so he can properly evaluated in these games that are coming up. They see Dalton in practice, they saw the film from Sunday. Maybe he has looked good enough that they think a side benefit to the caution is getting to look at the offense with a different guy running it. The worst thing that could come out of it is Bryce is hampered the rest of the season
  5. I will admit, it is odd that even if he’s declared healthy, he wouldn’t start. To me, if he’s “the guy” if he’s healthy, he plays. I’m not saying this is a benching, just odd wording by Schefter. I would imagine the team is just playing it safe with him?
  6. Honestly I don’t think we win, the home bubble is burst. Bad bounces, mistakes, penalties at bad times, drops, you know… the let downs take over and we see the bumbling team we have watched for so long re-emerge. I don’t know if Dalton still has it but the OL probably doesn’t help him. But I don’t think it would be any different if Bryce was playing. He is totally capable of fuging it up, in his usual ways.
  7. What we need is not a guaranteed percentage, it is the capability and willingness to roll deep when the opportunity is there, can be a realistic threat to do that, and thereby keep defenses more honest. And if/when he sees a guy break open going down the field can adjust his plan and take advantage. We don’t see any of that really. Thatks about all I am saying, I rarely express it right.
  8. I think we're gonna see that Dalton is cooked and we'll be blown out. But that's ok, this board needs to see Dalton is done, it's time to focus on Bryce and look for a younger backup with some upside.
  9. Not that it’s a surprise but Schefter just tweeted Dalton is starting regardless of Young’s status.
  10. But they will pair Young with Rico and Dalton will be stuck with Chuba. lol
  11. My 500 yards thing was answering a disgruntled Bryce fan who was trolling/mocking. IOW it wasn’t based in reality. Offhand, 225, 1 TD, lots of rushing yards is closer to what a good game from the offense would look like.
  12. Which would make it ….. amusing, if he looked better than the starting QB.
  13. Today
  14. Willis is really a 3rd string QB at the moment. He is in a place that suits him, behind a young, potentially franchise QB with no pressure on his development timeline. That is exactly not the case here. Personally, I highly doubt he will ever develop more than being a middling backup but we will see.
  15. If it isn't a heavy dose of Rico early and often, you will have a pretty good idea of the outcome, I suspect. Huddle wants Rico heavy running and play action passing. Watch almost none of that actually happen on Sunday.
  16. Malik Willis is still an unknown, but Jameis (Pick 6) Winston is an interception waiting for a place to happen. Winston sets season record for interceptions returned for td's
  17. If we’re throwing that much against Buffalo, we seriously messed the game plan and probably lost. Buffalo is giving up nearly 170 yards rushing per game. There’s NO reason to come out slinging it everywhere.
  18. where as Bryce is, has been and will always be ass as a starting NFL quarterback
  19. i hate to break it to you guys but Andy Dalton is a washed up scrub. hes ass.
