  1. Past hour
  2. I think Jalon Walker is a dawg, a fantastic college player and a good locker room leader. I'm not sure he has the physical abilities to be the 8th overall pick. Further tweeners scare me. It is well known that in the NFL not only do you have to be a good all around player but you need at least one elite skill/trait. What is Walkers beside his speed rush? So then you're taking a player like Princeley at 8 overall.
  3. Week 17: It's the Peacock Holiday Exclusive in a Saturday night showcase (subscribe to Peacock for the NFL, stay to watch Wicked and The Traitors) "The Peacock Holiday Exclusive will be broadcast on NBC stations in the competing team cities, and available on mobile devices with NFL+. The NFL is the only sports league that presents all regular-season and postseason games on free, over-the-air television in local markets."
  4. My UNC friends are having a field day over this. I told them just imagine those same headlines if they start losing.
  5. I just want someone in the media just to say it and watch fireworks happen
  6. Future planning for the last week of the season: There are no Thursday or Monday games in Week 18. All games will be played on Sunday except for two that will be flexed into ESPN's Saturday night doubleheader.
  7. It's not so favorable when you look a t the home and away. We play the weaker teams on the road and the tougher teams at home. If it were reversed, I think we could have a higher win total. My rationale is as follows--we are likely to lose to the better teams wherever we play, but if we had the weaker teams at home, those would be closer to automatic wins. Even bad teams put up at fight on their home turfs.
  8. Sunday, Oct. 5 Vikings vs. Browns in London Sunday, Oct. 12 Broncos vs. Jets in London Sunday, Oct. 19 Rams vs. Jaguars in London Sunday, Nov. 9 Falcons vs. Colts in Berlin Sunday, Nov. 16 Commanders vs. Dolphins in Madrid
  9. Confirmed: Sept 5th Chiefs at Chargers, 8:15 p.m. ET -- Brazil (YouTube)
  10. May 12: Fox, Amazon will each announce one game May 13: ESPN will reveal one game on its schedule May 13: All seven international games will be unveiled on "Good Morning Football" May 14: CBS will unveil one game on "CBS Mornings" while Netflix will also be announcing one game
  11. The thing I hate about strength of schedule is that NFL teams change so much over a year and past success or failure doesn't really dictate future success or failure
  12. Considering you previously struggled to understand BTT despite it being explained in a video, write-up, and multiple replies, I get why this might be a little too complex for you. Happy to clarify again! Just let me know which part tripped you up this time.
  13. And, honestly, there's only so much you can attempt to do in the draft. And every draft pick is a roll of the dice. But that's where grabbing a ton of UDFAs, and targeting the best, makes a big difference. Sure, their individual chances of getting a hit here is less, but that shotgun pattern might just hit something. Right now, we need bulk, partly to rebuild and partly to dilute the deep level of stank that has developed on this team in the last six years. If we're going to rebuild a culture built around culture, accountability and winning, then these UDFAs we bring in each season have to be the wash water that gets out that leftover dirt. Canales seems to be a smart, culture-first, build up the good ones kind of guy. I like that and I hope he can keep it going here. But he was working against a locker room that had been taught to lose and taught to distrust or ignore coaches. He's got his work cut out for him, still. He does seem to have it moving in the right direction and that's something I was pretty amazed with by the end of last season.
  14. The most telling sign, IMO, of a team on the upward swing is who we lost in the off-season. Who left that even saw the field? Woods, Clowney, Sanders, & Hekker. OK...no big deal. Clowney is the only 1 that I raised an eyebrow over and I get that it was a money decision. No need to pay him over $7M to take snaps from our draft picks when he was just OK last year.
  15. Eagles vs Cowboys for season opener TBD vs Chargers in Brazil on Friday week 1
  16. Today
  17. Planning for NEXT year (2026 season): the LA Rams will play a game in Sydney Australia (doesn't look like the Panthers would be eligible to play this particular one per expected schedule matchups)
  18. The full announcement will be done on Wed. The international games will be announced on Tuesday on NFL Network's morning show. The Chargers will be in Sao Paolo in Week One, the Colts will be in Berlin, the Dolphins will be in Madrid, the Steelers will be in London, and the Jaguars, Browns, and Jets will be in London.
  19. this stuff is always fun, seeing all the leaks happen. pinning this just because i like it.
  20. Kind of like folks that double, triple, and quadruple down on hating Bryce Young being the Panthers' QB? This hindsight fantasy that the team was locked in on Zach Frazier and passed on a "guaranteed" franchise center is, at best, revisionist; at worst, it's the same tired fatalism we've seen directed at Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, Bryce Young... and now Jonathon Brooks. It's wild watching Panthers fans trip over themselves to dismiss any pick that doesn’t line up with their emotional forecasting, no matter the context, logic, or timeline.
  21. Thursday, Sept. 4, the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys.
