  1. Past hour
  2. No doubt. I'd say Hendrickson would cost as much GTD and maybe Oweh. We for sure are rolling the dice slightly here, but injuries can occur at any point, regardless of history. I trust Tillis' skills in the verbiage and contracts to make sure we're not bent over a barrel with this. For me, we've tinkered with "safe" guys and it shows. I'm done with the Wonnums and Pat Jones' of the world. I think missing out on Milton last year is what pushed Dan beyond a more palatable number for Phillips. I think he probably goes back to Philly for less.
  3. Impact player while healthy but its a fair gamble. Gotta admit hes a freak to come back from his injuries the way he has
  4. I’m happy with this one The pressures are the big one. Eventually the sacks will come. Phillips also has the ability to kick inside on pass rushing downs which is a huge bonus
  5. Might need a slot corner, and might be able to upgrade FS, but it's nice to know that the secondary's basically fine.

  7. So, we just basically blew our cap space on an oft-injured guy who has produced fewer and fewer sacks who also isn't much of a tackler in the run game? Can someone explain this to me?
  8. Risky move. I dunno, but I am hoping for the best. Mediocrity is not getting us anywhere--so roll em.
  9. I don’t think they forgot. They look lost on the ice. I’ve been aging it all year, the blue line hasn’t meshed. The players are playing well together. Over pinching. Two guy committing to the same player. That is a death sentence playing man btw. Players playing they are off hand. Blue line is as worse as I can remember.
  10. We are always saying the Panthers are late to the party, and never make moves. Well guess what... we made a move. And we got a REALLY GOOD player that is still in his prime.
  11. Potentially a very big pick-up at an area of absolute need. The "if" there is unfortunately 1 of those things that are pretty much out of anyone's control. The money is what the money is. There's been a bunch of talk already that teams might be overspending on players across the board this year, with an increase in the salary cap, and a shortage of top tier players hitting free agency this time around.
  12. age or athleticism its more of the injury thing but he does get after it when he is healthy so I dont know
  13. It scares me too. And there was this guy named Greg Olsen. Jake Delhomme. Stephen Davis. Sam Mills and Kevin Greene etc. This took balls.
  14. The difference in the nitpicking is would you have to guarantee them $80m. Phillips could be elite but they paid him as if he already is. Huge gamble. I hope it pays off but this could blow up in the Panthers face and leave the defense starving for a pass rush and cash strapped too.
  15. 120 mill holy sh*t that’s a ton, and he’s an injury risk. But he’s really good

  17. I truly dont know how I feel about this one, he has shown flashes of brilliance at times and has a high motor but philly was still looking for him to take that next step to being elite. And we just paid him like he is elite and that is a huge number to navigate with the cap
