There have been some wild ones. Leaf. Rosen, etc. People are just forgetting some of the insane historical QB busts. A lot of that is the power of how bad that trade up was. I do think it has to be firmly in the top 2-3 worst NFL Draft trades, however. I would need to look at the history to see if any come close. Maybe Ricky Williams? IIRC, Ryan Leaf was a similar trade too.

Very unlikely, IMO. I think he has put enough on tape to be worth a 5th or 6th, at best. Depends on when he is traded, too. If it is ASAP, the value will be slightly higher because of the smaller cost contract wise(3rd year rookie versus expiring contract).

He was just that physically gifted in college; he had a huge arm, he could scramble away from anyone, and no matter where he was on the field he could toss up a jump ball to mike evans. Him beating Alabama was what caused Saban to finally get away from statue QBs and implement some RPO elements. The way he played in college was never going to work in the pros. Even if he wasn't a polysubstance abuser and was cerebral and willing to put in the work, the best case scenario was always him sitting for multiple years and learning how to play football. Murray is a solid 210-215 QB, built like a RB. Bryce plays at 180-185... Not built like a QB at all, more like a college point guard size wise.
