  4. Seeing as how big brother Bryce hater immediately slid in to wax poetic about "waiting and seeing" (after spending the entire offseason doing the opposite), I've got a feeling we’ll be hearing the same old gospel soon: Tampa is the clear division favorite Bryce has size limitations And of course: "They gave up too much for him, so he must throw for 300+ every game or it wasn’t worth it" I've developed a bit more of an exotic palate than some, though--so while some might fear the taste of crow, I've grown rather fond of it over the years. Hopefully I'll be having a nibble after listening, but I've got a feeling they'll have more salt in their diet than I will crow...
  5. I would love to see Ryabkin make the big squad. He's that sandpaper we've been missing. If Aho is 250 grit and Carrier is 80 grit, this dude is that rough 5 grit that'll take your fingerprints off... Also...
  6. Svech for Bob. Otherwise, go away.
  7. Outside of cerrato, I do like our draft overall. Hard to get can't miss draft picks when you pick late in the draft
  8. Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
  9. Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages. Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams. Moore has a nice smile and can dance. He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players. I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent. Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man? Good luck with that. AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing. He can specialize in situational football. Coker? Just getting started. XL? Just getting started. Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow? I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn? Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game. I hear that Morgan loves him.

  11. Burns at 5-6 seems....a little aggressive.
  12. It's going to be: N4lo Legette AT Hunter Coker Horn Moore IMO will be a vet PS option, similar to Matthews, and Boone last year.
  13. Burns expected back on a 1 year deal worth 5-6m. Ehlers rumors again pointing at a signing in Carolina. CBS predicts Granlund will sign with the Canes. Day 1 of FA should be pretty crazy.
  14. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/45603859/ducks-send-g-gibson-red-wings-g-mrazek-draft-picks I mean....this feels like a trade we could have made.
  15. I guess we are trying to get a bulk discount on English classes for Nikishin?
  16. Pretty good write up on one of our four 2nd round picks...
  17. Do you play in Russia? Great, you're odds of being a Hurricane went way up! Lmao
  18. Is our goal to keep trading back and manage to get every draft pick in the 7th round...
  19. I have very low and I mean very low expectations for Evero’s scheme. It’s a better roster overall for him to leave Jaycee on one side of the field and the safeties out to dry due to zero QB pressure. Spoiler: I don’t like the scheme.
  20. I wouldn't trade Svech for the best FA on the market, Marner included. Matter of fact, someone would be giving up a top line scorer and a couple draft picks for Svech. Look at it this way, if Svech was a UFA in a couple days, what does his contract look like? That'll tell you everything you need to know.
  21. I know it a real homer take but Im not sure Id slam dunk take that list over Smitty. Smith just played a different way, he had an ability to just take over a game as a matter of will. The catch against the giants where he caught it and took a helmet that broke his arm mid air, the games against DeAngelo Hall, 05 Bears playoffs, Ice Up Son, the revenge game against us. Those other WRs may have better stat books but love him or hate him, good guy or bad, Smith just played a different game and when he did look out.
  22. Absolutely would have to be anther young scorer with either ELC time or a long term contract... Could see maybe Kyrou or Robertson.... But I really just dont see him being traded you dont trade your leading post season scorer on a long term deal when he isn't even in his prime yet.. not to mention unless you get more than one of those guys at best it would be lateral with unknown team chemistry.
  23. was driving down a two lane rural highway this morning as was reminded of this thread. Minding my own going 60 in the 55. This massive Chevy rolls up behind me so close all I see is grill. Along comes a passing zone and M firm in the right lane. Does doofus drop over and pass me? Nope he backs off to a solid 2 second separation. 500 feet after the passing zone you can imagine where he was. Back up my ass.
