Yes. We have to win 2 and the Bucs have to lose 2, doesn't matter which way it happens. That's why losing yesterday was such a colossal let down.

I think we need to build around these two and hope Miller can stay healthy. Flip Melo and Miles for a great player or some picks to keep building this roster.

When you blitz and leave the middle of the field completly wide open every time, it will fail every time. Don't know why he continued to call that blitz when it continously never worked.

Yep and the truth is even if we were able to get him on the bottom end of the scale, it would be a salary cap issue for a roster that has more holes than Swiss cheese.

It would take a really damn good offseason for us to be a real threat in the playoffs. Edge is a huge weakness, our TEs are bottom of the league, we need another WR, our C is a FA, ILB has to be upgraded with Roze being gone regardless, FS, possibly NB, I believe Robinson is a FA as well so DL is another need. These are all needs without even mentioning the whole QB situation plus we have no depth.

I truly believe this team would be 9-5 (maybe even 10-4) right now with a decent QB. I wanna see Canales with his handpicked QB before writing him off. Canales still has room to grow. Ejiro has literally won us games this year with his defensive gameplan with damn near no playmakers besides Brown. So that leaves one person..........get that little ass QB outta Carolina.

Yes and yes but the Saints punted twice in the 1st quarter and then never had to punt again and they gave up 10 points in the fourth quarter. That with Canales calling a terrible game cost them.

The "Bryce curve" is just so built into expectations now that mediocre games are good. Because Bryce's "good" is NFL mediocre.

I don't think a great QB will ever be able to overcome a bad owner/ownership. It permeates too much of the organization and creates scenarios where it is very difficult to ever succeed for any length of time. In fairness to that draft, two of the top 3 guys in this "strong" draft were huge busts and Bryce wasn't even the biggest one. Perhaps, ultimately, we just made that trade up in the wrong draft, as well. Compare it to the next draft that has seen so much success and wouldn't have even required any sort of trade ups.

Precisely. I feel line people are giving away the participation trophy equivalent of praise to Bryce in almost all his "good" games. He isn't a top 25 starting QB. No matter how you dice it, that is always going to be a problem. Especially when his "ascent" is at such a glacial pace as to be almost imperceptible. Does anyone really want to wade through another few years of wishing and hoping?

A lot of young QB's struggle with holding on to the ball top long. He has gotten better progressively in that regard. Pocket Time(in Sec): 2.5(2023), 2.3(2024), 2.2(2025) Time to Throw(in Sec): 2.9(2023), 2.79(2024), 2.82(2025) The divedends have been fairly small, is the issue.

I'm firing DC, though I think it actually makes the job less attractive. He's not prepared to be a HC and it's showed. A new HC is not going to be tied automatically to BY. He's going to want to bring in some level of competition in the QB room because anyone who has ever watched football knows our QB room is lacking. If he doesn't, that tells a more interesting tale of who's really calling the shots. Dave hasn't been decisive enough in game and that leadership council BS has trust fall vibes. Our offense has been pathetically stale and vanilla. Our run game while good has made no sense based on who has been playing best. Our defense is improved but they can't be expected to hold opposing teams to below 17 a game because our offense can't score consistently. We've beaten some teams we shouldn't have beaten, specifically GB and the Rams, and I think our record doesn’t accurately reflect where the team and the coaching really is. We've fallen flat against a geriatric rookie QB leading a 2-10 NO team and got our ass handed to us TWICE. We're unprepared for the biggest games. This is what happens though when real coaching candidates turn down interviews because your owner is a narcissistic butthole. You get someone no one else bothered to call and you get the results everyone else would have expected if they had.

The Saints would be 2-12 if not for us. We are 50% of their wins. A organization serious about the playoffs does not get bullied by a sh*t team like the Saints TWICE. It's over my brotha.

The slide has failed at keeping QBs safe. The correct move is to remove it from the game but it’ll never happen. There’s other ways to avoid getting hit. I don’t agree that it’s reasonable for defenders in the current state.

A "good game" for Bryce is sub-200 yards, hovering around 20 attempts, hopefully a TD and no turnovers. That's low level game manager stuff. Backup QB stuff. And that's the real problem. Our starting QB forces us to run a backup QB offense.

The whole thing reminds me of when Mike Vick would fake a slide and then continue for more yards. It's all designed to take advantage of the rules limiting how defenders can interact with QBs. It's weasel tactics but it's legal.

If we move on from him my feelings won't be hurt. I still think we have a ways to go as a complete team in general. Bryce or not.
