That’s what this place is. We still have a below average roster, but we have players that have shown really good development. Two years ago this franchise was in a horrible place- worst in the league. But let’s fire the guy responsible for doing that. Spinning the coaching roulette wheel always works out wonderfully.

If Bus starts, they win

Yeah, yeah...I sang that sad song about 3 years ago and it fell on deaf ears. We ride with Bryce until the '27 draft and if we screw the pooch again by not getting our franchise QB in that draft, I may just swear off this eternally cursed franchise. Also, it's odd that the certain guys that lean into one or two stats lines to 'prove' Bryce is somehow a superior QB are not in here defending him on this one. It's crazy how they implore us that Bryce is the man, but our lying eyes just can't see it because we don't understand what we are watching.
-
They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.

I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
-
This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers. I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win. Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend. If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
-
I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
-
I could be mistaken but I believe the Rams are locked into the 6 seed. With a SF win, Seattle still has a game lead on the Rams. Seattle win, SF & Rams are tied in total record & division record [if Rams beat Cardinals], but SF has the better conference record.

I was way wrong in assuming OSU would easily win this.

Have you paid any attention to the bowl records?

Lowest Yards Per Completion...All Time.

Everyone was inferior to manziel in college he was a coked up god -
It's a definite disadvantage. I'm not sure how it got Instituted at all.
-
Call me crazy but Seahawks. I thought we played horrible on offense yet still had a chance.
-
When you have a CB shadowing a receiver, in actually complicates things for most defenses that aren't pure man. Few defense run pure man, as even with the talent, its easier to exploit, especially with the run game. There is a lot.more to it. I don't think we'll ever run a heavy man defense, regardless of who we have as our DC. Our front 7 isn't good enough to pull it off.

Not a single productive veteran in the receiving core. It has haunted us all season. With Seattle's #1 defense in points allow, it showed. I know many thought we had a chance with Seattle, but I knew the only way we would, is if we won the turnover battle, and we certainly did not. This will haunt us in the playoffs too. Not that it'll last long for our Panthers

Happy new years canes huddle family. Here is to a new goalie, a 2C, and finally, a cup win. Cheers!

Bye teams are now 0-5 in the 12 team playoff. Coaches were already doing it, but if it continues the next meeting will likely be about how to tighten the schedule up. 4 weeks off against a team that played 9-10 days ago is showing to not be an advantage.
-
Rams 100%. Stafford looks old and/or hurt right now. Seahawks have always had the Panthers number. Panthers kinda historically own the Rams.

Cristobal is a complete cornball.

I got love for Cignetti. He's that dude. Zero conference pride from me, I don't give a fug about the conference my team plays in. But I always love watching the SEC nut huggers take Ls.

Re-sign Dowdle for one more year and then draft Mark Fletcher Jr in 2027
