  1. Past hour
  2. I don't think Bryce has turned any sort of corner. I honestly don't think he has a corner to turn. He's always going to be very physically limited with a low ceiling as an NFL starting QB.
  3. i dont understand how cj was miles above byounf in y/g qbr passer rating and y/a and yet everyone talking about cj like he bad and about byoung like he has turned some corner lol
  4. It’s not idiotic. Youre the one bringing up play from 2 years ago as if that matters today Bryce post benching is both a bigger sample size and more recent than their rookie seasons - why would what both did as rookies carry more weight than that? Bryce is slowly but clearly progressing, CJ is regressing at an alarming rate. It’s not a scorching hot take right now to say TODAY Bryce is the better QB. CJ is the sole reason his team isnt playing next week for a chance to go to the Super Bowl, and he completely wasted an elite defense that had only Stidham in between them and the Super Bowl
  5. Bryce played at New England on a beautiful 70 degree September day and CJ played them on a sleety 32 degree day in January. It’s ok to admit the situations are not the same
  6. Thirty years as a NFL team and we've made the playoffs 9 times. I don't want to waste any chance of winning a Superbowl. If the doctors say he is fine to play and Robert wants to play I don't see any issues. I'd also want to know the extent of what information doctors and the team had when making the decision to allow him to continue playing. I'm not a doctor. I don't know how much, if any, he was jeopardizing his future career. I don't like guys playing with significant injuries but it's the NFL. I think it would be difficult to find a player who has not played through injury. That's one of the reason I hated extending the season and not playing on grass. Other players in the NFL have played with an injured pectoral muscle such as TJ Watt and notably Chris Spielman who played an entire season with a torn pec.
  7. Not sure if he has inside knowledge or if he's just stating the obvious.
  8. Troy Aikman said something towards the end of the game about CJ needing to take the next step and the coaches having to get it figured out which made me think he knows something he’s not at liberty to say.
  9. I'm probably one of the few that isn't shocked by this. Someone had to take the fall for not making it this year without Mahomes to worry about. The surprise is that Beane didn't also get the boot. A promotion? With that roster? A guy like McDermott is not going back to DC and even if he was, I'm not sure I want him. Those Bills defenses has blown games in big moments too. The one with Mahomes is an egregious one, but even this weekend, Bills defense could've won it for them in regulation but instead let Nix throw a bomb for a TD.
  10. Maybe, but we now have two consecutive seasons where he has regressed from his outstanding rookie season and the last two games have been disastrous. He has the talent but he absolutely has to adapt. Seems like he's struggling to adapt to NFL DCs getting film on him to study and his confidence has to really be floundering right now. Next season is big for him.
  11. Caleb even said that the route initially called was an over route with DJ crossing over above the other routes. Caleb wanted to change the route and have him flatten out but DJ didn't get the call. Miscommunication. But the fact is that when Caleb let that ball go, DJ was nowhere in the vicinity. He should have seen that and gone elsewhere. It was a bad decision.
  12. The choke jobs by far. Just think for a minute. They went to four consecutive Super Bowls and lost...every time. Think about what that does to a franchise's psyche and soul.
  13. It is a hypothetical. Neither is playing next week. It’s irrelevant. its you trying to change the subject because you said something idiotic. You don’t have blind 1 week qb drafts in the nfl this is stupid
  14. Philly is home to him the way a young man's parent's basement is home to him. Sure, you lived there, but you didn't become a man til you moved into your own home. Carolina is his real home.
  15. They've certainly had some key injuries, which are ingrained within the real and/or perceived success or failure of the team.
  16. What are you even talking about? Did you watch the same play I did? The ball wasn't even near DJ Moore.
  17. Bills are as cursed as the Panthers, don't which is worse Josh Allen never reaching the big dance or the 4 SB choke jobs of yester year...
  18. Do you know how bad Kenyon Green is? He’s not even on the Eagles anymore the team the Texans traded him to. He legit might be the worst guard in the NFL The Texans also just drafted Ersery in the 2nd round. The Texans aren’t the first team to trade Tunsil either. But yeah I do agree overall that all QBs need help. It’s why I think using wins as a QB stat is dumb as hell.
  19. He had prime Diggs and still choked and cried all offseason until they changed the OT rules
  20. If I’m earmarking the Panthers to spend big on an EDGE (which we should) I’m going after Jaelen Phillips. He turns 27 this summer and would be more of a long term signing vs. Hendrickson, IMO. I feel like Dan will go after someone like he did Milton Williams last year, and my money is on Phillips, Lloyd or Dean. Maybe it’s Hendrickson but given the age, much the way we went after Moehrig, I think age plays into it. I will say though, seeing Demarcus Lawerence light it up in Seattle at 33 does provide hope….. I just don’t think Evero’s system can be compared to what’s being built in the PNW.
  21. NFL officials are the most incompetent fools in all of sport. They are ruining the game more and more with each passing season. The NFL HAS to implement a real accountability policy. 1 - Hire them as full time employees. 2 - Implement accountability measures in exchange for full-time employment.
  22. Its not a hypothetical - do you really think theres a coach right now that would have more faith in putting CJ Stroud behind center than Bryce next week?
  23. It’s very obviously the amount of injuries they’ve had on defense over the last 4-5 years. In a perfect world Buffalo hires evero and we sign McDermott but I bet he takes a year away honestly
