Last season most of these guys that were eligible were RSOs, JRs and JRs. The unknown was who many were going back. The answer was 99%. Could some return for '28? Sure. It won't be 99% like this time. I think the only RSOs were Moore and Sellers. Moore would have arguably been QB1 this time around. No way he stays again. Sellers could depend on how good of a season he has and his projected draft grade. Teh rest of those guys will be coming out save a horrid season

I ordered a Queens shirt to rep for the tournament and I'm currently in a war with UPS / Under Armour as to where it is.

Pickett is disturbingly like Bryce, lol, except that he seemed to just find ways to win his rookie year but was unable to capture that magic again. Hopefully he's improved and can (lol) push Bryce to be better... But I won't hold my breath

Yea, me yelling at the Hawaii bench warmers to put a fuging shot up with 5 seconds left down by 20. And this is why gambling is "fun".

I knew I'd find a debate about Howell here, given that Andy fuging Dalton is replacing the guy that beat him out. There's something teams do not like about Howell. This board has always sold him as a sort of poor mans Jameis Winston, and perhaps teams are too concerned with his propensity to turn the ball over. I wonder if he's bad in the film room or something? Ah well, not our problem.
-
You could just as easily turn that around. Imagine drafting a guy number 1 overall, because he surrounded by more talent than 95% of the opposition that he played in college, put him on a bad team facing opposition that is at least equal to or better than his offensive talent, and believing he is going to not only excel from day 1, but that he is going to be able to lead an offense at a top NFL level at playoff contender level. I don't think the expectations are too high. The top QB prospect should be able to at least have back to back games where he looks like a NFL QB. We haven't seen that in 3 years.

Ugh by the hook, that sucks
-
I don't think you can call it piss poor when he took a one seed down to the last 4 minutes and lose by 6 when you are a 28.5 dog. If you think you only have 5 guys that can compete with a superior team I get it. Ride em and pray. It just didn't work

I need to accept that I'm really good at soccer decent at NFL and suck at everything else. Up like 2500 dollars the last 2 months on soccer. Given half back on everything else

Dell getting jersey retired tonight!

Excellent pick up! Kinda surprising too I figured we’d go after a top pass rusher but wasn’t expecting a player like this at another big need position. I mean this is a top notch NFL linebacker.

What to Consider when you Draft in Round 1

With our free agent signings we set ourselves up pretty good for bpa. I’d prob lean def. -
Entertainment bet. Something to keep me occupied until the Carolina game. Hawaii didn't score for the first 4 minutes of the game, and this still got to 90 at half.
-
Round 1 has to be an impact player, You dont draft an LT to sit behind Walker, same with CB, not drafting to sit behind Horn and Jackson. No center in the 1st available, Carolina traded up to get XL, their not going to rule him out yet so they are stacked at WR, Unless a top10 LB, S, Edge falls, they wont be the pick, that leaves TE and DL. Its between Kenyon Sadiq and Peter Woods

Ouch. We'll get it back!

I was coming here to say exactly this. Siena's lone really good player was literally limping up and down the court from fatigue the last 5 minutes of the game. They went like 7 minutes without scoring, and fatigue was 100% to blame for that. Hard to judge McNamara after all he's done as a player and getting his team to the dance, but man, that was piss poor coaching at it's finest level.

Duke lost me 17 units they can suck my balls. I hope they lose

I had similar thoughts on this recently. Maximizing talent on the team overall given the salary cap means having to replace expensive talent with new talent at a much lower cap number, even if there may be a downgrade in that position group. Take our O-line, for example. We had to spend the money to lift it from the bottom of the barrel but if we want to improve in other areas and pay some players their new contracts, we need to draft their replacements now. A small slip in performance is likely worth 20 million/year in savings and if your new guys are even better than the old ones, you're in really good shape

Play starters the entire game and they run out of gas halfway through the second half
