  1. Past hour
  2. at least we are getting some moves now--going into a fun time of the year. THANKS Special Juan for staying on top of things.
  3. Me too. It is probably coming. I did suspect Coker.
  4. Okereke had a disc issue in 2024 Missed some time. Will be 30. D captain in NY. There are going to be some decent stopgap types out there we have yet to hear about, too. All our needed positions.
  5. Jalen Coker CARWide Receiver#18 Panthers tendered exclusive rights free agent Jalen Coker. Carolina also tendered fellow ERFA Brycen Tremayne. Coker missed time early in the season and struggled to find his footing over the first few months of the season. He picked up momentum down the stretch and ended the season on a high note with a career-high 134 yards and a touchdown on nine catches in the Wild Card Round. Head coach Dave Canales gave him a vote of confidence after the season by calling him the team’s No. 2 receiver. While Carolina’s run-first approach makes Coker a middling fantasy option, keeping him around on a cheap contract as the clear WR2 was an easy call for the Panthers.
  6. I have no idea what 85 in Spanish could mean. Older people, Marge Helgenberger (?) the TV actress was a Panthers fan way back in the day.
  7. Duke fans are so defensive all the time.. Hopefully they don't choke like they did last year with Cooper and kon
  8. Before opening, I was convinced this was going to be our 4th re-signing of David Moore lol
  9. Today
  10. I don't know who either of those are.
  11. Chubb & Chenal would be my preferred FAs. Very manageable from a cap standpoint and are instant improvements that create definition on defense. Hendrickson & Lloyd will be top of their positional market, but I think you get similar value for a tad less in the first two mentioned. Hendrickson is the only real top-tier talent that doesn't show up on the FA market often. Would be a fun swing for his final 3ish years. Okereke is very interesting to me. Loved him that final year in Indy and he's still got a good motor. Had some injuries but nothing hindering his continued performance. Under the radar would be Justin Strnad.
  12. Very true id rather splash some cash at a 2/3 year deal for Trey Hendrickson. And bring in a Ellis or Okereke or Chanel to pair with a day 1 or 2 pick
  13. I think Lloyd is another one year wonder to be cautious about. Had a great year but that was a contract year. That worries me.
  14. The over the barrel part is in reference to the original post in this thread that basically argued now is the time to negotiate while his injury has him over a barrel. I think that's a terrible idea and approach to negotiating with players.
  15. Signed to the roster from somebody’s practice squad December 2024. Gone before 2025. He was one of those 6 year college guys (Covid rules). Not sure he was ever active for us. I just looked at wiki for this they posted no pro stats. He was on a lot of teams. I am not thinking we have good comp there.
  16. wasn't one of the recent practice squad guys a fast WR/RB hybrid? Velus Jones? how did that work out?
  17. That’s exactly why if the Rams came knocking with the 13th overall pick and a package of other lower picks for Horn you accept the trade with your nipples out saying thank you daddy. Scott Fitterer didn’t understand this kind of deal when the Rams wanted Burns.
  18. I’d make that trade. Then turn around and sign Mike Jack to the contract he deserves
  19. Eh you see someone at like 26-30 trade their late second round pick to move up to 19 and jump another rival playoff team for a player they love pretty regularly. Sometimes you can even get a future first out of those trade ups depending on how desperate they are to move up. Not crazy.
