  1. Past hour
  2. Multiple key guys we need to retain. We are now officially at the beginning of the crossroads though. Unlike the Texans who already have a stout defense built up we need to invest a great deal of resources into our defense. Can't pay everybody retain and improve our OL and potentially extend our young quarterback to a $100+ million contract as well. Tough decisions are going to need to be made. And the days of wanting only the best around him are about to be in the rearview.
  3. I’m of the opinion that Bryce needs an elite defense behind him. Idk what the FA OT market looks like but that will have an influence on how we approach defense. Prior to Ickey’s injury, I’d argue our entire offseason focus should have been defense. Sign FA Matt Milano for instant legitimacy at ILB. I, honestly, seriously, would try to trade all of the first round picks for Myles Garrett and Vita Vea. With DB, it’s the best d-line in football and now defenses can’t even entertain the idea of blocking our OLBs.
  4. Reposted from For those curious (and subject to change): 2027 season we'll play the Eagles, Commanders, Jags, Titans, and an NFC North team at home Away games at Houston, Indy, NYGiants, NFC West, and AFC East 2028 Home: Arizona, SF, Denver, Vegas, NFC North, AFC North Away: LA Chargers, LA Rams, Seahawks, NFC East
  5. Coker made up for the XL miss, but it hurts to have to draft an OT again.
  6. Thats just the reality of every team. We are not in a unique or challenging position in that regard
  7. I’m not sure about the level of edge rushers available when we pick, but one guy that intrigues me is Anthony Hill Jr. from Texas. As a lb he’s played all over the place for Texas. Would he benefit from moving to edge full time in our 3-4? He looks to have all the traits you want in that role but I don’t know enough about him.
  8. Keep drafting and developing. We just can't afford to get into cap issues while there are still so many core players to retain.
  9. Either or both. Jones is likely the only vet OLB under contract. You cant really overdo it at that position.
  10. I’m sure it’s a tough life but we need people like you in this world
  11. Anyone who disagrees with you either flips burgers or is an unemployed deadbeat while you cape daily for free for a billionaire and his favorite son. Get over yourself bud.
  12. Not all of us sleep in till 7:30 and punch that clock at 9am to go putter around at an unpaid job all day like yourself
  13. Today
  14. Either. Kinda early to make that decision without analyzing the options
  15. Man get some help. Up at 7 am wasting keystrokes raging about CJ Stroud. He's got 3 playoff wins. We got zilch. Accept it and get over it.
  16. Resign Coker, Moore, Tremayne, Nijman, BC, Curhan, Mays, Gipson, Cherelus, Rozeboom, Simmons, Martin, Jansen
  17. Said it last year as well and I’ll say again If we had drafted Stroud his 2023 season would’ve looked very similar to Young’s and I’m not sure he ever would’ve recovered. You saw some very concerning things last night as the game went on with footwork and pressure. The Texans have done a fantastic job of building around CJ and allowing for error given their defense. Last night was most likely a lot of people’s first time watching CJ this year. But once Slowik offense hit a wall so has CJ. Bobby Slowik absolutely cooked in 2023. A lot of open deep stuff for CJ which played to his strengths as he throws one hell of a pretty ball Its hasn’t been smooth sailing for CJ since that Bears game in 2024.
  18. Our biggest problem is that we’ve already spent a lot of resources at corner (horn), O-line (Hunt snd Icky - 1st round early pick), WR (XL and McMillan), and RB (Hubbard). Because of injuries and FA and XL, we have to compound investment in those positions again. Not good.
  19. It would be worth it. The entire line plays better when he’s in the game and I don’t see him getting worked game after game. I saw our old center Bozeman getting destroyed against the Patriots which was funny to see.
  20. Scott Fitterer was the worst GM in the history of the NFL and as a grown man if I saw him in an airport or something I would go up to him and tell him what an idiot he is for not trading Brian Burns for TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS AND A SECOND ROUND PICK. So glad that moron isn’t working for the Panthers anymore. Single handedly lead us into the gutter.
  21. Anthony Hill might be gone by 19 he is gonna destroy the combine. He’s an athletic freak and a great instinctual player. Source- I watch a lot of Texas football.
  22. Anthony Hill would be an excellent pick even in the first round. Dude gonna be a baller
  23. You named one guy out of hundreds every year. Yes sacks aren't the end all be all but they are field flippers and they end drives. When you need the ball back sacks are critical in getting off the field on 3rd down. You simply don't see many elite pass rushers that aren't first round picks. Look at the best sack artist in the league from to recent 90% of them are first rounders. The guys that are good at getting after the quarterback are identified Early.
  24. Not denying that's a possibility but this sounds like he's the only available black coach in the league and under minds the improvements made on defense this past season.
  25. Bring him on,the more the merrier!!
  26. Yes..and it's sad. Can't stop talking about him in comparison to bryce.
  27. Ryan is a defensive coach what do you think? the OC is also new but I guess that doesn't matter.
