  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, flying an NFL team coach is just stupid. These are huge people and the team owners have massive resources. It's a good investment in your product to have your team flying comfortably.
  3. I agree lol and they are being cheap
  4. Well, poo. Unfortunately it's all happening. The kid is 12 now and in middle school and they're still ALL IN on this baseball stuff. They're really encouraged because some of his teammates are being invited to national level teams, etc. Yeah, some of his teammates. Not him. They finally put the kid in a quasi-school that's a hybrid type thing where he goes to school a couple of days a week and the rest is virtual/home school. He's struggling terribly so they're talking about pulling him out. The family has talked to them over and over about how this prioritization of baseball has to stop and they have to start actually prepping this kid to succeed in life. Being a professional athlete is a long shot even for an elite athlete and your kid just doesn't have the genetics and you're fuging him up in life with these backassward priorities.
  5. JStew/Chuba is about a push IMO. I love JStew but I honestly think he's one of the more overrated Panthers by our fanbase. Yeah, the '15 TEs were way better. The OL is a push. '15 was better on the interior and a lot better at specifically center but '25 is a lot better at OT, specifically at RT. Yeah, the '25 WR corps is significantly better.
  6. You fail to grapple with the reality that Stroud has proven that he can play at a high level in the NFL and Bryce hasn't. Guys who have shown it tend to get a little more leeway because... well, they've shown it.
  7. Let me slightly reword that, King is the best QB and therefore the most impactful player. I would go so far as the claim he is the best player in the ACC. huge King fan. He is exactly what I would want as my college QB. Total different wants for my pro team but he is college football to me
  8. Teams that have clearly established WR1 and WR2 roles that are both legit threats. Miami - Hill and Waddle Dallas - Lamb and Pickens Detroit - St Brown and Williams Rams - Puka and Adams Eagles - Brown and Smith Tampa - Evans and Godwin Cinci- Chase and Higgins Chargers - McConkey and Allen Too soon to tell Chicago - Moore and Odunze Giants - Nabors and Robinson Thats it really. You could argue Pittman and Pierce in Indy but one of them is always hurt it seems. Of the 32 teams, those are the only ones that if you took away the WR1, the 2 could step into the role. Those are the only clear WR1 and WR2 in the NFL right now imo.
  9. So the ultimate point you are trying to make is Bryce is now better then Stroud. You go for it buddy
  10. There was nothing to interpret. You failed to mention the hypocrisy of how folks call Stroud's issues reasons for his struggles but call it excuses for Bryce which was already explained.
  11. JStew > Chuba Olsen, Dickson > Tremble, Sanders Oher/Norwell/Kalil/Turner/Remmers > Icky/DLew/Mays/Zavala/Moton The WR room is probably the only group better than the 2015 team.
  12. Which part of "Stroud has regressed" did you fail to interpret?
  13. What does eating opossum have to do with playing football? I really despise this line from you city slickers who don’t know a hoe from a hoe. Chill on your hatred of all things peaceable and nice.
  14. It's even easier than that. CJ was said to have elevated his team rather the entire team elevating one another. However, the team is 0-3 with CJ's stats being worse than Bryce's this year. Defense? Weapons? Coaching? Those were called excuses for Bryce, but they're now called reasons for CJ? The hypocrisy is deafening.
  15. Wilks is overrated as a coach? He got one year in Arizona and his half year in Carolina was the best ball we’ve seen since what, 2017? We were Ickey Ekwonu meltdown away from the playoffs in 2022 despite everything that happened. We should have kept Wilks, re-signed Darnold, re-signed Foreman, drafted Kincaid, Torrance, and Charbonnet. Then, had we sucked again, we could have taken Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, or Drake Maye and kept DJ Moore.
  16. They fired him because he made 0 changes. It was the same offense from year 1 and when defenses keyed in on that he made no changes. Now did they replace him with someone better? I dont know. They also got rid of their best OL and didn’t replace that talent. They went and drafted more WRs and didn’t aggressively try to fix the OL after trading their best guy to Washington.
  17. Very high potential especially Scourton. His versatility is looking more than previously shown. I think he should be a starter Prince looks like a pass rush specialist right now. But that's okay, he will develop.
  18. I can. They hired a great DC and he classically messed up a good thing on the other side. They had success on the offensive side and then took it for granted when team building. Personally I think they got lucky with Stroud and then did what their normal is. Im not a fan of their GM either so I just think your seeing the true normal from that group. There is a reason Kiffen wanted to remain a top DC vs taking on the switch to HC. Being great as a coordinator doesn't require the same talents that makes a great HC. Bowles is doing a better job as HC than I think of his times as a DC too. Fans just take it for granted that a great coordinator will automatically make a great HC.
  19. I can’t believe the Texans fired Slowik. They really had a bizarre offseason
  20. It's just overall a massive pain in the ass for something that may or may not happen. You see games rescheduled for hurricanes. You don't see games rescheduled for scattered thunderstorms. It's a lot better to maybe deal with the possibility of an hour or two delay than it is to move the entire operation due to the chance of scattered thunderstorms. It's just part of the deal playing outdoors in the early part of the season. We only have a couple more weeks with it being a major issue.
  21. Today
  22. I assume the big reason they would be hesitant to flex for weather is less about the teams being able to pull it off and the TV/broadcast/money stuff coming into play
  23. It's not just the corporations. Look at all the resources that go into planning for the traffic, etc. To snap your fingers at the last minute and bump a major D1 football game up a few hours is simple to say but it's a logistical nightmare. And predicting scattered thunderstorms a week out? I mean, we all watch the weather. Weather predictions a week out is like planning your finances around scratch off lottery tickets.
