  1. Past hour
  2. That has to be the plan.. And for people thinking Styles will be there, they have lost there mind.
  3. Nah, we take McConkey and I don't think we end up with T-Mac. My personal fandom aside, I think it's obvious that if it's one or the other, T-Mac is the one you want.
  4. I think finding Coker as a UDFA actually makes it sting even more. We back 60 spots later in the draft to move up one spot into the first to take XL instead of just keeping the very next pick and staying at pick 140 instead of 200. We could have had a better pick later on and still taken a player at another position of need, like pass rusher, linebacker, or safety while then landing Coker after the draft.
  5. Today
  6. Thank God we signed him. It makes up for XL being a bust.
  7. This should’ve either been phrased better or I have questions
  8. Just look to draft Proctor or Lomu in the first and go from there.
  9. Can't make blanket rule of drafting like that. You look at all options.
  10. My nextdoor neighbors cousin dated Cokers PE coach in middle school.
  11. You know you're old when you're older than JJ Jansen. RIP to me.
  12. Michigan State is really beating up on a blue blood tonight. Quite impressive
  13. March 03/11 Released RB Miles Sanders. 03/10 Agreed to terms with CB Mike Jackson. 03/10 Signed CB Jaycee Horn to a contract extension. 03/08 Agreed to terms with TE Tommy Tremble. 03/08 Agreed to terms with C Austin Corbett. 03/07 Tendered restricted free agent C Cade Mays and exclusive rights free agent DE LaBryan Ray.
  14. Not exactly exciting but it signals Dan & company have finished their roster evaluations and are ready for phase 2, re-signing players they want back next year. Check out 2025's transaction dates: February 02/21 Released CB Dane Jackson. 02/18 Re-signed QB Andy Dalton. 02/14 Re-signed LS JJ Jansen. 02/11 Signed K Matthew Wright to a future contract. 02/04 Signed WR Brycen Tremayne to a future contract.
  15. A big win in Pitt? Pitt is 9-17 (2-11 in the ACC). They're fuging terrible. It's just that truly fuging terrible teams are the only teams we can even compete with right now without Wilson and Veesaar. Is the rest of the roster really THAT bad? No, they're not. He didn't let Tyler Nickel and Cade Tyson off the bench and they're scoring 15ppg and 20ppg elsewhere this year. Isaiah Denis who is currently glued to the bench will probably do the same next year. Cadeau who we ran out of town is the starting PG for the #1 team in the country. The issue has never been the talent. The issue has been coaching.
  16. This Tarheel him is so garbage.. everytime we play in Miami they play like ass!! They get a big win against Pitt.. then go to State and like ass!! I get Caleb is hurt.. but is the rest of the team this bad!?? Damn I sick of Hubert!!
  17. Like with Young we over reached ...thats the issue.is he athletic enough to be a ST performer while on the back burner for wr? Can he be redeemed by slow rolling?
  18. I leaked information when he was fixing to be released that it was because of his relationship with Cam and the team thinking that keeping Smith around was holding Cam back from being a leader of the team.
  19. I saw today where the tag for a C was something like 28 mil. Because the rules lump all OL positions together for the tag number calculations. So Baltimore will likely not be tagging Linderbaum, I mean… would you? Doesn’t mean they can’t get him back. I wouldn’t mind paying if they could make the numbers work. Because now we are gonna be weaker at LOT to start with, but beyond that we kind of half measured the interior with not upgrading C. Get stout all across the inside.
  20. "Lost cause" is a little extreme.
  21. He would've been if not for that fluke run to the title game his first year. Ever since we've basically just won a big game or two and/or landed a big recruit for the next year that keeps buying him another year of grace. Minus a Sweet 16 run, I'm ready to rip off the bandaid.
  22. If he plays the full season that puts him at 294 starts. Would love to see him play another year to go over 300. Interestingly. Jon Kasay: 1995-2010 JJ Jansen: 2009-Present Somebody really needs to get them on a podcast together. That’s literally the Panthers entire history
  23. Hubert should have been gone already. Im not even a Tarheels fan.
  24. JJ and Dalton, and a couple of others put a hit on that average age number. Overall the team feels young to me.
  25. I think it is pretty clear they are not looking to supplant Young. There is no urgency to find a potential replacement, even as a backup. The kid from… Arkansas? Why the hell not? But it won’t be anyone that threatens for 2026. They are proceeding with their optimism intact still. They are gonna rationalize the 1-3 finish, and focus on the nice showing under the bright lights of the playoff game, and the stadium environment that day. They have a case for it, but it ignores a lot of negatives that we experienced this year. All of them that were QB related, really.
  26. He's the basketball version of John Bunting. He somehow wins a huge game every year that buys him another year of grace. But UNC has to wake up and realize that UNC basketball isn't UNC football... but Hubert is trying his best to accomplish that.
