  2. I want the following: LB - Devin Lloyd (our big money splash) I'm also interested in Nakobe Dean if we go the cheaper route. His size is a concern beside Wallace, but Dean is a Dan Morgan type of alpha leader of the defense. He's often called the heart of the Philly defense and would absolutely bring a swagger and be our field general on defense. We need this so badly and I'd almost rather go with him because Wallace is no guarantee to ever hit his potential, so maybe we go with Dean and find a Wallace replacement in on day 2. EDGE - Boye Mafe (SEA) I think he's a great blend of pass rush prowess, age and experience. We have our potential youngsters in Scourton and Umanmielen, let's add a vet from a successful franchise to bring some heat. Bye bye Wonnum....bye bye Jones. We roll with Mafe-Scourton-Umanmielen TE - Cade Otton (TB) Again, we have youth in this position w/ Sanders and Evans. Sanders is tracking similarly to Ian Thomas (age/stats) and wonder if he will ever be the TE we thought we stole in the 4th round. Evans looks legit, but more of a balanced/blocker. Sign Otton, who Dave is familiar with and save some money by cutting Tremble. Also allows us to roll Otton-Sanders-Evans in 13 personnel WR - Wan'dale Robinson or Rashid Shaheed I wonder if either of these will be priced out of our range based on age and what they bring. We do already have a 5'8" WR with Horn, Jr. so I'd see the argument against Robinson. However, the latter is still only 25 and just hit a 1k yard receiving season with suspect QB play in NY and an elite talent in Nabers on the roster. SEA gave up two '26 draft picks for Shaheed and he has stepped in nicely for the 'Hawks...doubt they let him walk. I also saw Doubs on the FA list and wonder if he'd be what we need. We need a separator that can be a deep threat to keep defenses honest. TMac/Coker are the bigger receivers, but not necesarily guys that scare a defense....would Doubs be that guy? SAF I'd like an upgrade here and wonder if we wait out the FA period until the latter stages if someone like Ar'Darious Washington or Jaylinn Hawkins lingers and there's a discount later in the game. Nick Scott can F off and I hope he never suits up for us again.
  3. I just can’t see Morgan as being under the threat of unemployment at any time this upcoming season. As little as ‘winning’ the division and making the playoffs impressed me, I think to Tepper it was like nectar of the Gods. A milestone for him. And the team did play well in the Wild Card. That has to buy him 2027. I would think. Unless we start 0-8 or something. Which I don’t believe will happen.
  4. I'm not arguing that Linderbaum isn't a better player than Mays, just that the difference isn't as much as people might think. At least not compared to the difference in cost between the two players will be. In any event, I don't expect the Ravens to let him get to the open market.
  5. The draft seems to have a good group of RT/LT guys. Some that can play OG too(or project there). If you can plug a decent rookie in, I think we can survive. Remember the bar is pretty low. We just need someone better than Nijman.
  6. That kid is fuging done. I am telling ya'll, everything about him exudes shattered confidence.
  7. Bryce hasn’t elevated anyone in three years. Well maybe Rico, unintentionally. Theilen maybe if you really squint. I don’t think I am lying. He needs elite everything. LOT is definitely now a crapshoot. Instantly the most pressing need. It cut the line and put the other needs back one slot.
  8. Don't be surprised to see more desperation roster moves in the near future. I don't think Morgan would go down quietly with the ship and thinking of the future of a team he wouldn't be a part of. A lot of GM's before they get canned start making panic moves.
  9. Maybe one day, the Panthers will have a shot to lose 18 games in a season. Tepper will probably still be rolling Young out to start.
  10. Agreed. Well, we know the reason the mega panic bucks went to those guards. That wasn’t a normal situation and doubt it will ever be repeated here. That wasn’t building it was a desperation move.
  11. Soccer was somewhat of an inevitability because it became a popular youth sport in the 90's and early 2000's. That was were the rise of soccer here really came from. It is likely it will play a much smaller part of the future of US professional sports for a very long time.
  12. You knew it was coming, they probably bump to 16 playoff teams as well.
  13. Yeah and Linderbaum is 25 years old. You can make him the literal and figurative centerpiece of a newly overhauled OL in 2-3 years. I will never understand paying megabucks for OG's but running OT's and OG's at center. It's insane.
  14. And for some reason, people have insinuated soccer into this country, over the last twenty or thirty years. With all these people that were imported, that is gonna leave a mark. Soccer is their game.
  15. I watch a ton of NFL because the product on the field is still the best on the planet. But, that will only get you so far. US sports fans are an aging crowd so there will be a dramatic drop when the Boomers die off and the GenXers do, as well. The Millennials will probably be the last major generation that watches sports in high numbers.
  16. The Bryce stanning is relentless. Cam’s team won two games the previous season and legit was picking 1st. Bryce’s team won 7 games the previous season and was actually in playoff contention. And legit earned the 9th overall pick. If anything made that team worse in 2023 than in 2022 it was Bryce. Come on. And missing DJ, I’ll concede that.
  17. I see the logic in what you're saying, but I'd also say there were games with a bit more talent on the roster that some of the L's are actually W's. AZ - We don't get off to a crappy start and if this game is later in the season when Bryce is a bit more comfortable, I think we beat the Cards NO - At least one of, if not both of these games would've gone our way SF - Perfect opportunity to snag a win on the road that Purdy handed to us, but we couldn't do anything offensively TB - Final game was winnable in Tampa All this to say, I think 8 wins is about where we were at in 2025 if you take the games we barely won and combined them against the games that we barely lost. Add 5-6 new pieces in FA and the draft. We went head to head and almost beat the Rams in a meaningful playoff game that gave a lot of the youth that experience to take into 2026 and beyond, and I do think 10-11 wins is achievable next year. Not guaranteed, but much the way folks thought we could get to 8 or 9 wins this year as the ceiling, I think 10-11 is the new ceiling for next year.
  18. Milano at LB. We just have Jags at the position. Can still draft an LB. Likely has to be in consideration at TE. Sanders hurt. TT FA. Doubs, Alec Pierce, Shaheed. All three could really help this offense in totally different ways. Doubs feels the most redundant of the group but he is also the most polished and talented wr. Be done w XL. I still argue that Bryce needs an elite, Houston-type, defense in order to succeed here. I would legitimately find out the asking price to both Myles Garrett and Vita Vea. Cleveland is transitioning and will have a new coach. Vea is in last year of contract. Assemble the best dline in football. Bring in Milano to fix ILB. Corners are good. Safety’s aren’t terrible and Ransom looks promising. You’d have a 3 year window or so. Biggest issue w any plan is going to be LT. Idk what the fix is there.
  19. Pegula just went full Tepper. Everybody knows you never go full Tepper.
  20. Today
  21. Yea we earned the top pick by sucking. Didn’t have to trade the future to get it. I’d say by definition that’s a bad team.
  22. Yeah I don’t know. There were three guys that went right together. Bang. And they were sitting at 32 in front of us and SD. I figure they knew we were taking Legette if they traded with us, and didn’t mind that.
  23. I'm of the opinion that beggars can't be choosers. If you need a QB, you have to strike when you think the opportunity is there whether the roster is "ready" or not. If the opportunity isn't there, then keep building up the rest of the roster and try to find a decent stopgap. But if you're telling me if you're in a situation where you need a QB and you like an available QB and you pass on him because you don't think the roster is ready for it then I'm gonna tell you that you're dumber than rocks.
  24. A great team that went 2-14 the year before. lol
  25. I feel like a lot of Josh's playoff losses are in shootouts and in OT right? Didn't they literally change the OT rule because he lost in a shootout with Mahomes and never got the ball in OT? This year he has several turnovers no doubt, probably because he is trying to play hero ball too hard. It was also a terrible call on that WR catch. Also yes Mahomes is the better QB no doubt. His franchise also built a better team around him. If the game is on the line Mahomes it the one you want above all right now. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-playoff-stats Josh Allen has a passer rating of 101.5 with 3,915 yards, 29 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 15 games in the playoffs in his career
  26. Dysfunctional as hell, right now, but it will settle down once again with the right coach.
