  1. Past hour
  2. Pre reformed Canales that was a porn addicted alcoholic, that’s the coach of the year to me
  3. Only recall one play. Gameday thread wanted a flag when Bryce didn’t slide. So I don’t know the other play
  4. The Panthers market is larger than many other NFL markets Even larger if you combine Charlotte+other supporting areas We may not have the largest, most passionate fanbase, but the marketing area is definitely larger than other NFL cities. Its about winning, not about the market size.
  5. Are you serious? I'd take Herbert or Nix over Bryce any day of the week and twice on Sundays!
  6. The jaguars are winning their division, they’re small market too
  7. Dunno man. Two of the better QBs in the league, while not being shut out, didn't throw for 300. So I don't think that Bryce does. Evero definitely is in my proverbial doghouse right now, and our inability to get pressure is a major problem, but I don't think think Bryce would play better than the best QBs we've played vs our defense.
  8. Right but you need to have the right connections to get the refs to call the game favorably for your team and as far as getting players on other teams to comply with bribes, etc
  9. maybe they meant sexiest coach of the year
  10. The Saints haven't tried to tank in 25 years. They're not good but they're a bad matchup for the Panthers, no different than the Panthers were a bad matchup for the Packers. Doesn't make the Packers worse than the Panthers, just means they don't match up well. Hammer the Bucs and Seahawks ML, kids.
  11. Yeah, we know our QB can't run a QB sneak but other teams have non-QBs run that play. The Steelers with geriatric Rodgers come to mind.
  12. Every quarterback in the NFl has bad plays in every game, and likewise weaknesses that show up on a weekly basis. If you stretch that sort of logic far enough, you wind up arguing that Cam Newton was the reason we lost every game we didn't win under him. Yes, that's dumb. And yes, Bryce is not consistently good enough to make him the future at quarterback. Nothing about today's game took away from (nor added to) that argument. So bottom line: It's still true, but damn, some of the emotional / irrational anti-Bryce takes I see on this board are dumbing down the conversation as a whole to utter ridiculousness
  13. You wanna know why Bryce has a long leash because he gets to look awesome against our defense every week at practise. And weren't you the head of the Sanders fan club a week ago
  14. Coach of the year? This article aged like milk
  15. Imagine losing to the team who did that...and you're the 1 seed in the NFC. Or the 2 seed in the NFC.
  16. He got outplayed by a rookie 2nd rounder making his 6th NFL start and throwing for under 200 yards and barely over 60%. I get that there's a big Bryce curve, but it can't cover up for all that.
  17. No, it's that they're never going to be good for one reason or another. They've never going to have a winning season again, and it's for multiple factors: poor ownership, poor players and poor coaching are big, but the NFL also doesn't want nor need the Panthers to ever be a respectable outfit. Ignore the other team's record 17 out of 17 games and take any win as if it's the Super Bowl, because no one will ever see this team have another winning season. This was our last shot at not losing 10+ until the mid-to-late 2040s.
  18. People have been saying for awhile now that Jaycee Horn (while talented and capable of flashing great play from time to time) still isn't worth top 3 corner money because he is too inconsistent. Still doesn't change the fact that a rookie QB 8 games into his career outplayed and swept our 3rd year QB 43 games into his career. And Dave Canales continues to get outcoached. Hard truths all around.
