  1. Past hour
  2. Get this defense 1 legit pass rusher that teams need to plan around and look out
  3. Today
  4. Very true. Which in part comes down to decent coaching philosophy yielding success. Reality is before the season I expected a bottom tier defense across the board. Currently, the Panthers are tied for 4th in interceptions this year. They haven't been consistently abysmal against the run. They've actually held their own in quite a few games too. Sure, pass rush leaves much to be desired and that I expected, but Evero deserves props for implementing a scheme that's working overall this year.
  5. Everybody made too much of that. The CBA and the 17 game schedule is what kills the cohesion we see in teams across the league in the opening games. You decide, look at your depth and make informed decisions there or you get a an extra quarter or whatever two quarters with your ones. Teams that are set don’t have those openings as much down the roster to evaluate but that ain’t everybody. It is a quandary. I think they need that 4th preseason game back. But as I said, I don’t lay that as the excuse for Bryce to come out looking like he does to start seasons. He has an entire camp.
  6. Hey I said the 1pm west coast team, I said the up down up down and we were due for the up week. You can’t know what is going to happen. There was a guy that detailed why the league would engineer a Panthers win to bring LA Rams back to the pack in conference standings. Who really knows, and how much real belief do you have when citing these things? I generally have as much as my superstition allows. It rarely rises to an emotional experience. Usually it is more analytical. In terms of interest. When crazy poo happens and we win a game like today I for sure enjoy it. I mean you have to think about it, how many times do you connect 2 4th and short situations for TDs? Who does that? That is like the most embarrassing thing for the Rams’ defense lol. That never happens and should never happen. Expecting it to happen might not be a good plan. But it was pretty great
  7. The defense has mostly stuck to the "break slowly" and get a turnover or two still zero pass rush
  8. Lol even so its no comparison and I also think hes a great fit for rhe scheme Cannales runs.... very Mayfield esque.
  9. This has nothing to do with Bryce but look at Mahomes record now that his side is at a Carolina Panthers the last half decade talent level. A good QB keeps you competitive but the rest of the side will make you a champion
  10. Now that the Panthers have eclipsed 6 wins, I still have no idea what the identity of this team is. Will say that Evero has vastly outperformed my expectations on the year. Deserves to be retained. This defense has outpunched its weight class. Offense wise, it's anything but consistent obviously lol.
  11. Have you seen the past two games he has played with Purdy? He is adapting to working around Purdy, because he hasn't played well since his return from injury aside from the Arizona game. Now that isn't typically the case but he has clipped his wings a little it looks like.
  12. Nah. It was an off the cuff joke. For the record, Grier is currently back on the Cowboys practice squad.
  13. I don't think Purdy is all that good.
  14. You won't believe me when I say this, but truthfully, it's not bad
  15. West coast teams play bad on the East coast and East Coast teams play lousy on the West Coast it seems.
  16. That lights out D gave up over 400 yards tonight to a three win team playing their backup QB.
  17. Denver with a lights outs defense, more than generous officiating, and an offense that's not worth two shits. I've seen this story before. I dont like this story.
  18. If course they fug it up. Denver will get their comeuppance in the playoffs.
