No hate but he seemed slow and like he got pushed around anytime he got blocked.

Tampa's remaining schedule
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's a big ask for them to sweep Tampa. I can't really see it happening -

If a running back touches the ball and gets four plus yards on 3 or 4 carries you keep giving him the ball until they stop you. that’s why I was so pissed with canales in the nines game. Our running backs YPC was almost double cmcs in that game. We had the better backs in a rushing ball game and they didn’t give him the ball. careful tho I said better backs in a ball game. 10/10 if I had my pick I’m taking CMC dude is just insanely good -
He only completed two passes of considerably more than 10 yards. But he had 3 at 9-11 yards

Yeah wallace is a let down. He came from underneath some of the good linebacking crews we have had. Behind Shaq, and Luke. And honestly I just don’t think he has the strength or the awareness to supplement his speed. Seems like a somewhat ok coverage backer. but man do we need a solid Mike bad.
-
He should be in the conversation, I think Shanahan should get the nod considering all their injuries
-
What probably doesn't get mentioned enough is that Rico is a massive liability as a pass blocker compared to Chuba. If you look at that TD pass play to T-Mac, it looked like Moton got beat but Chuba threw in a big chip and that helped Moton recover. That's why the talks about trading Chuba just didn't make sense. When healthy, he is the more complete back.

Boom and Wallace have both played 11 games this year. Boom has 91 tackles and Wallace has 58. I can’t believe this fuger is a team leader.
-
Not gonna pretend like we played great but I'll take a win over UK in Rupp short a key upperclassmen starter all day everyday.
-
He made like 1 play in this whole thing. Shitty, slow, weak player with no instincts. Yikes.

Always love the bts cinema camera plays

Around the 11:15 mark, I think I see what triggered the unsportsmanlike penalty on Canales. I'm not overly familiar with sideline rules but that seemed really ticky tacky.

The crux of the issue is figuring out if he can be more consistent will cost us more. A lot more. The options as I see them now: Trade him Pro: We get something in return. No further financial liability. Con: We must find a new guy + backup via FA/draft and they may not be cheap and/or could be worse than Young (see McCarthy). Young could be the next Darnold/Mayfield on another team, which means it's an organizational issue with (lack of) QB development. Fifth Year - No extension Pro: Gives us more time to evaluate and build up roster. Have a natural exit plan if he doesn't pan out. Con: We get nothing for him in return if we let him go. We risk a Daniel Jones scenario where Bryce plays lights out, skyrocketing the cost of his extension. Extend now Pro: Provides stability for the near future. May be able to get a more reasonable contract number now since his stats don't scream franchise QB yet and/or structure it to where we give ourselves an out. Con: Bryce's agent demands whatever CJ Stroud will end up getting. We're hitching our wagon to him for at least a year or two. Cost of getting out of the contract. Likely ties Canales' fate to Young.

I hope Wallace can develop but he's a liability as a starting LB at this point. He didn't take the rookie to sophomore leap I was hoping he would.

When do we get a Tepper mic up. Can we do that for the 1st Tampa game?
-
You can really just imagine that our playoffs start after the bye.

Tampa is going to poo the bed against NO or ATL- one not both. My guess is ATL on Thursday night football because those games are weird. I think they lose to Miami. Not big deal if we lose to Seattle, more of a bonus if we win or a make up if we lose to NO again. But Miami is kinda a rival for Tampa and I could see them overlooking it. The rest will be what happens between us and them. Not saying this because I want it to happen, but a lot of their guys are barely holding on. Baker is a rough sack away from falling entirely apart.

when my expectations are shattered The team's response to my low expectations on the left, and my usual response the following week on the right.

Don't look now but we actually just beat the current 5 seed on sunday
-
Obviously I pointed this out in several other threads.... Here are the facts since you didn't state them, Tampa must lose to Atl or NO for a split to affect us as all, if they lose to Miami it means littlerally nothing.
