Hubert Davis doing Hubert Davis things last night. -
:looks at Panthers keeping Bryce at least two more years: :looks at Giants new hire:

I'm skeptical of it being a talent problem and more of a scheme issue. But we will see next season when more players are added. But with that being said, he has managed to out coach Canales as a whole this season.
-
I figured this would ultimately be the case. Of the openings thIs is the one that makes the most sense IMO. Dart showed a lot of promise as a rookie and they'll get Nabors back from injury next year. They obviously need work but they have some key pieces in place and a lot of their losses were competitive.

Their DL is crazy bad honestly. DL wise, Lawrence is a problem for them, they have no run defense or real anchor anymore to tilt matchups for their edge rushers. Burns had a good year sack wise, but somehow was worse in run-d than we've ever seen (and that's saying something). Total liability. Pair him as that liability with Carter, who was not as blue-chip as expected, and Thibs who seems above average at best, they've got major issues. Okereke is getting old. Nubin, Adebo, and Philips are about their only players on that side of the ball to call a core. Makes you feel a bit better about us with some of our guys haha.

Your Feelings on Bryce Through 3 Seasons? (POLL)

You can't see who voted what? I could have sworn you could in the past. I want to block the 6 people that voted 1-2 because those people are clearly trolls or are the dumbest humans alive and I would like to never interact with someone that ignorant. -

His lows far outweigh his highs so far volume wise. He's had like 5-7 legit/truly solid games in his career out of 46. His highs have shown some respectable play that would be worthy of a 1st round pick. His lows are UDFA lows. And the bulk of it is very inconsistent below-average play that is difficult to watch. We've seen some slightly elevated play at more consistent recently but it's not enough to give a full contract to. I totally get giving him the 5th year. But this org absolutely has be patient and see how 2026 rolls out. He's not in position to demand some shiny new contract yet so we can obviously wait and see, watch until guys like CJ get their cut and how Bryce plays a bit more. There is absolutely not enough to go off and rush this process. If Tepper/Morgan are claiming to have learned and are willing to be patient, then they need to exercise patience with a 2nd contract. -
Smart move but he has another qb that can't stay healthy.

No reason why their edge rushers shouldn't be eating. Don't know much about the ILB's or secondary

No offense, I really am not being confrontational here. But I don't think any WR in the NFL or college or even high school would have defined that as a tough catch. If you can only catch a ball that is perfectly passed then you're not a WR? You're an athlete that goes out for passes. The TD winning catch by the Rams TE was exponentially more difficult with many more variables involved. All Jimmy had to do was catch a ball that was within the frame of his body. I think he catches that 19 out of 20 times. But that was the 1 out of 20 he didn't.

What does this mean and why did you choose these stats to make a point? epa - numerous playoff QB's with worse CPOE - numerous playoff QB's far worse YAC - middle of the pack I understand the point you want to make, I just don't think these specific stats make that point for you. Based on these, BY is better than about half the other playoff QB's.

Even if we have a lot of cap space, we still need to find players who want to come here. Making the playoffs may help that but other teams that also made the playoffs who have more cap space are Chargers, Seahawks, Rams, Steelers, Patriots, 49ers, Colts, and Broncos. Over The Cap
-
Giants roster is pretty stacked, that made them one of the premiere destinations. They'll be in playoff contention next season.
-
The team is in Columbus. It was posted by Columbs Aviators.

I frikkin loved those uniforms. Dark uniforms looked like bomber jackets.

So Monken will have Dart, Skat, Nabers, Theo to start working with and a top third OL. Their D is a travesty though. Big rebuild coming-- even with their DL spending, it wasn't smart building w/ this Burns-Thibs-Carter trio oh and Dex dropping off a cliff this year. I can see a respectable floor but if Dart isn't it, it still may take a minute.

could you link the article because this dude says we are tight with little leverage https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/postmortems-for-wild-card-round-losers/id1528622068?i=1000744963630 we are the first team they talk about, really good non biased talk

Maybe it's a misprint, or I am misunderstanding, but that logo reads Columbus Aviators. -

Are they going to have goggles on the helmet like the Iowa Barnstormers? -

i read a lengthy article yesterday that basically explains it's very, very easy for us to have $75m in cap space without even counting a potential increase in the cap. We are going to be able to add a lot of pieces this offseason, including multiple stars. This forum is the most doom-and-gloom place on earth when it comes to the cap. For some reason everyone on here is always under the assumption we can't rub two nickels together but it's simply not the case and rarely is. We WILL lock up some big names this offseason. Bank on it.
-
The Giants have a lot of pieces on the table. But they have also had a very shaky table. Should be interesting to see how this one works out, because that place has been a mess for a while now and has the biggest microscope on it of any team in the NFL.
-
Well alrighty. Good luck to him and Ginn. Might be a reason to tune in.
