So the two guys I originally wanted all the way back in December, that were projected around pick 20 are now mocked to go #3 and #5 overall; Bailey and Styles, respectively. Go figure.

What he said about Conception does fit the profile of what elements I think the 3rd guy should bring. But I still think we can get that without spending yet another first round pick. Canales has some receiver roots before the QBs. Ditto Idzik. Put that poo to use and find us someone outside the obvious 1st round suspects that every average fan can see.

The contract UNC offered Lloyd would have put him between Hurley and Self, somewhere in the 8.3-8.5m range... After last night, I'm not sure he's worth that... Lol

For the record (around 19 mins), he "loves" KC Concepcion, and he said that he might be the most dynamic receiver in all the class.

You really do need to do that if it is a serious hobby. I don’t look any more until we draft someone then I look. Exception was 2023 because we cut our sack off for the first pick. I looked then. The horror…. I wanted my sack back but Tepper had it in his clutches.

I think I saw the Rams mentioned as offering assets to trade into 8. They took TMac instead of offers. Looks like a very good decision at this point.

What I came away with is he was very helpful with the ‘Will this player be there at 51?’ type of stuff. understanding the dominoes falling and generally assessing your prospects with certain players being on the board for you. Which isn’t how we probably think of analytics around here. And I am sure they also do. The stuff we think of as analytics I mean. RAS etc

Former GMs have admitted to leaking information like this about players they really wanted. You've got a guy that put up crazy numbers AND looks great on tape AND has all the measurables. You really want him, but you're not picking that high, and you know he's not making it to your pick. So you leak stories about his "work ethic" or "character concerns" and hope teams ahead of you buy it and pass on him. Literally former GMs have admitted to doing this in the past... so there's that. Not saying that's what happened here 100%, but it's at least a possibility. And Dallas (and I think at least one other team) were going crazy trying to trade up into our spot when we were on the clock, and it was specifically to get TMac.
