Looks like we have a rub concept dialed up for XL here but TM4 runs the wrong route and keeps the DB in the area. If you watch closely enough BY9 looks it off immediately as he sees TM4 running up field instead of cutting in. XL would have been the target here. This also explains TM4 going up to BY9 after commercial break and tapping his chest as if he was saying "my bad." We can chalk it up to rookie mistakes. I do wish BY9 did try to throw an eligible ball here, but at this point the only eligible target on this side of the field was JT and I don't think BY9 ever saw him. I wasn't a fan of going empty on this play but seeing the film it does appear to be the right play call just bad execution. You can see both XL and BY are frustrated at the play's end.

I don’t understand why we are in year 3 of Bryce and this team has done nothing to push him or have any sort of competition. Absolutely no backup plan just all in on a QB who had one of the worst rookie seasons I’ve ever seen. Not taking a flyer on a mid to late round QB after his rookie season is baffling to me. Bringing back Andy Dalton after showing he is completely washed instead of an actual competent back up is crazy. Also how the fug did Jack Plummer stick around for so long. Dan Morgan talks about bringing in DAWGS so why does this not apply to the most important position on the team? This would all make sense if Bryce came out his rookie year looking like Stroud or Daniels but not after your statistically one of the worst QBs in the league.

Yeah, Dave sounded salty when asked about something to do with the defense later too, and one of the reporters said something about what did EE say to him, and Dave very dryly said, “we just had some great conversations.” and when followed up about the playing young guys, he said, we as a staff have to get these young guys out there. i think, unless the defense picks it up dramatically over the next 3 games, EE is probably gone by midseason.

Moehrig was great in run support like 82 or somthing..... His coverage was so bad that it brought the overall to that. Ninjawiffs grade is completely unsurprising, same for Corbett he was snapping like a clown to try and get out of his stance quicker.... Stupid ass staff we have would rather have BC backing up lmfoa. And we have a better C on the bench too.

Just watched PFF Grade Show segment on us They pooed on Legette ALOT Also, pooed on Canales & play calling In addition, pooed on Trevin Wallace Mentioned we need more help on offense Then basically said they're rooting for Bryce like last year (mentioned nothing about their high grade of him)

This will be a very interesting dynamic to keep an eye on. Canales has been more than generous keeping Evero from the previous regime and also keeping him after a historically bad defense last season. Evero is not really Canales guy, nor GM Dan Morgans. He will certainly be handed a pink slip if things don't change this season and it might be before Thanksgiving.

Listening to the to presser, sounds like there is some tension between HC and DC. Reporter asked the question (paraphrasing) "The staff pride themselves on being a developmental staff and we see lots of young players playing on offense, yet we don't see that on the defense?" Canales "Yeah I would like to see that too"............
