  1. Past hour
  2. It happens and the trends show the real damage. Not even trying to bring in a decent #2 is way worse than missing on a guy who did fail out of his first team and needed work IMO. Add taking XL over Ladd. Or Young over Stroud. Those say a lot more about the ability to evaluate tallent IMO too but it's why the team has been arse since Tepper got here. We are just washed arse this year at .500.
  3. I need to do a side by side on that and see how their best compared.
  4. You could say the same for baker and Sam here who have both made the pro bowl since leaving.
  5. The variety of penalties he has gotten flagged for is truly eye opening. He really is overwhelmingly our least disciplined and arguably dumbest player. It's bananas that he gets playing time.
  6. Dude Bryce had a higher PFF score than we had net yards passing haha
  7. Any sane rational person that has watched for 3 years now has to know that staus quo has to be changed and elevated
  8. In fairness to Ikey, he seems to be trending steadily upward. His penalties have been cut to 50% of his career average(5 versus the 10.3 career average) and although his sacks allowed are up to 5 this year, that is still below his career highs. I am far, far less concerned with guys like Horn or Ikey than I am Bryce. That's a real, immediate issue.
  9. No starting CB in the NFL, hell probably not even major college ball makes that mistake at THAT time with that down and distance. It’s beyond belief that one of the highest paid corners in the league grabs a face mask on 3rd and forever, with the wideout near the sideline, down 7 about to get the ball back with the playoffs on the line. FOH
  10. That's a fair thought and I agree but at the same time all that you gave up to get Matt corral who's out of the league versus a guy who's now looking to be the number one free agent in the whole offseason looks like a gross oversight and miss evaluation of talent to me
  11. Willis was awful in Tennessee and he had everyone’s darling Vrabel as his coach
  12. this is the issue if the panthers win byoung was amazing even if he had little to do wirh the win...if panthers lose every other player and coach sucks and held the greatbyoung down. its like the kid whose parents always deflect blame
  13. Getting the right guy at the right time matters. Teams blow their chance all the time. We had Baker in '22 but we had much bigger issues and he was thrown into the grinder of a bad team failing. Coaches and front office guys shield themselves with players all the time. Hence Baker being used as a DE on the scout team. It's dumb but that's the NFL
  14. Probably so but I'd argue you'd rather have a talented player who's been through rough times and let him build from that than to still not be sure what you have at the position
  15. Looking at that chart… everything under ten yards and almost half behind the LOS. 3 attempts over 10 yards. One pick. One inc. one complete. What are you supposed to do as the play caller? More ten yard and over attempts? I really hope they are just playing the hand they have to play, and faking any optimism and hiding behind coach speak until they are eliminated… and in reality they know that we cannot stay on this path another season. But I don’t believe it.
  16. The offsides on the offense was a new level. I don't care if he's on the team next year but he should be receiving (or not receiving) play time based on merit. Which means he shouldn't be in the game most of the time.
  17. One flag per every 3.5 catches and 38 receiving yards is something. Not something good but something.
  18. I had to add this to this thread after seeing it while looking at overall Panthers penalties for another thread. Xavier Legette has somehow managed to be tied for team lead in penalties taken this season. https://www.nflpenalties.com/player/xavier-legette-carolina-panthers?year=2025 He is tied for 2nd on the team in total False Start penalties. He has also somehow managed to get two Illegal Touching of a Pass penalties this year. To make clear how insane this is, he currently accounts for 50% of all of these penalties in the entire NFL this year.
  19. Top 7 qb. Man I can't stop laughing at that one
  20. Truth. Willis was not ready in 2022 for the role he'd have had to play on a bad team.
  21. Him getting passed over though was a blessing. He would have no doubt about it busted if he were put in the fire from the get go.
  22. Prime 89 probably does five years for aggravated assault if he was paired with Bryce. Or he beats the charges because no North Carolina jury would convict him.
