  1. Past hour
  2. I’d give a 3 and 5 and take a big swing. Not big enough to give our 2nd tho
  3. Nothing against any of our picks this year, but I don't think any of them necessarily justify timing a uniform swap. It's more about wanting a fresh look for a new era a lot of times. It doesn't always coincide with year 1 of a rookie. Purely anecdotal, but I feel a lot of uniform updates happen in year 2-3 of a build. I think it's because most teams don't wanna use a good design on a team that ends up being trash lol.
  4. I'd love blue to be the new primary.
  5. not sure if any of this is news, but a good summary of our situation heading into training camp. It's sure gonna be good getting Derrick back. After missing virtually all of the 2024 season, Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown is aiming for a full return to the field during training camp later this summer, per Joseph Person of The Athletic. Brown tore his meniscus in Week 1 and underwent season-ending surgery that has kept him limited through spring practices, though he did participate in “walk-throughs and light side work” during mandatory minicamp, according to Person. Brown originally stated a desire to be ready for the 2025 regular season, but his timeline appears to have moved up. Brown’s injury was particularly disappointing after a career-best 2023 season. He led all defensive linemen with 103 total tackles and was named to his first Pro Bowl, earning him a four-year, $96MM extension from the Panthers in April 2024. While he has never been a prolific pass rusher, Brown’s size and power has consistently commanded double-teams and created opportunities for his teammates. His impact was evident last season, as Carolina’s run defense ranked dead-last in his absence. The Panthers spent significant resources this offseason on defensive line depth, which should allow them to manage Brown’s usage more carefully coming off a major injury. He played a whopping 940 defensive snaps in 2023 (89% of the team’s total) and was on the field for almost every play before his injury last year. With new teammates Tershawn Wharton, Bobby Brown III, and Cam Jackson ready to share the load, Derrick Brown can take a lower snap share to stay fresh and healthy for the entire season. 6. Yeah it's kind of like they don't want him on the team anymore for some reason
  7. How can you not afford a guy you drafted? They are slotted contracts? This never happens. This isn't baseball lol.
  8. Something happened. Anyone drafting him knew they were drafting a boom or bust guy who had to a lot of potential but hadn't done much of anything on an actual football field. Something happened between the draft and now to make them have buyer's remorse on that pick.

  10. Well we would give him a fair contract!! The Bengals should be ashamed of themselves
  11. They've spent all their cap on a QB and two WRs. Re-signing Tee Higgins to a mega deal was a serious mistake IMO. They don't have a defense or an OL. They were in a situation where they had to let him walk IMO.
  12. Even in Scourton's down season he still managed more sacks than Stewart got in his entire collegiate career.
  13. Not if you are the bungels, they have seriously fuged this situation up as well as the trey Hendrickson thing.
  14. Today
  15. Elhers is going to cost around 8-9m AAV based on reports.
  16. Is there a bigger red flag than wanting to trade a guy you just drafted lol
  17. Also. Would trading him anywhere, change his position on his rookie contract!?
  18. ha! Yeah in the pre-draft process I saw a few people mock him to us.. was not a fan. Reminded me of Travon Walker. That said we essentially drafted that type of player in Nic Scourton.
  19. Dude wasn’t worth that draft pick to begin with. Lol
  20. i’ll take their 1st to take him off their hands.
  21. No. I honestly didn't think he was worth more than about a 3rd round pick to begin with and I'm not even sure I would've taken him that high. His lack of production is beyond alarming. The guy has bust written all over him. I wonder if the Bengals just finally actually watched some tape on him or something? Like oh damn, we fuged up! LOL
  22. The Athletic’s Joe Person reports the Panthers have talked to free agent S Justin Simmons about a possible deal. Simmons, 31, spent last season with the Falcons after playing for the Broncos for the first eight years of his career. A two-time Pro Bowler who led the league with six interceptions in 2022, Simmons has played in and started 31 of a possible 34 regular season games over the last to seasons and earned a PFF coverage grade of 60.8 last season. The Panthers ranked dead last in points and yards allowed per game last season and ranked 30th in yards per attempt allowed. Simmons would provide an immediate upgrade to a defense that’s hoping to take a big step forward in 2025.
