In fairness, it was into a wind that was gusting 15-20 mph. I didn't like the call or the throw, but it worked.
-
Lol, no he doesn't.
-
Yeah I’m not saying Bryce is better. Just Dalton isn’t better at this point in his career.
-
Don't think we could win this with Young either.
-
Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami also have better offenses than the Jets.

He's good at getting in and out of the huddle and making his checks at the line and being on schedule. Decent when the play breaks down. Struggles downfield. -
Another delusional take keep up the good work

I'll do both good and bad. Good Plays very well off schedule can make plays happen with his feet when needed Pretty good out of pocket on throws when he remembers his feet Meh Average athleticism Average to below average arm talent Bad Size / frame Footwork and mechanics (this is really his biggest flaw that's fixable) -
They have coddled him up to this date lol. They brought in zero competition this offseason. He obviously needs to be pushed at a competition level but it's just been him as the starter and Dalton laying back getting paid as the emergency backup. I wouldn't run a qb room like that personally
-
If Bryce is out I'll like to see what Dalton can do with this offense the last time he was called up he didnt have much to work with. A disgruntled Diontae Johnson and old man Theilen. We have the deepest receiver room we've had in a long time. Some good young TE's. And strong rushing attack with Rico (should be Rb1) and Chuba. Good offensive line depth. Say what you want when Dalton came in the passing game started pushing the ball down the field, not so much with Bryce. Young stats: 15-25 for 138 yards and his two longest pass plays went to Chuba for 26 yards and Rico for 17 yards. Dalton stats: 4-7 for 60 yards he eclipsed almost half of Youngs yardage in just 4 pass completions. We have outside weapons we need to be able to keep defenses honest in order to make this offense work.

He excels at being a complimentary piece for our offense and a centerpiece for the opposing defense. -
So I completely agree with you that they for once did what they're supposed to do. It's why I'm pretty happy with the win. And we have a fuging winning record!!! But I'm also not gonna stop wanting and hoping for other improvements with my posts. Not that I have any control.

I think this decision caused that game to be much closer than it should have. They essentially split carries and Roco had double the production, I think had those Chuba plays gone to Rico we would have had a much better run game and flow on offense. Thankfully the defense stepped up and saved a game the head coach and offense was trying to blow.

I do not believe there is anyone at any significant level of the organization (fo/staff) that wants this team to lose on Sunday at this point to make Bryce look good. Early in his career he was coddled, yes. But we are still in the playoffs and losing would cause a blow while beating the bills would be amazing And realistically nobody has to worry about The Rusty Rocket really going on a tear, even if we'd like to
-
I'm down to send a 6th to bring in Howell - 3,946 yards in his season as a starter vs 2,877 and 2,402 from BY in his first 2. He needs to clean up his INTs and he takes too many sacks, but at least he can move the ball. Let DC do his QB whisperer thing on him and see how it goes. Worst case scenario you're not losing out on that much anyway. Also, wouldn't mind bringing in Mariota, but I doubt the Commies would trade him. Daniels has been banged up somewhat regularly and MM has played well when needed. They could still potentially push for a playoff spot, so don't see them giving up a guy they may need to start at QB at some point. Quality backup QB play for a few games could be the difference between them making or missing the playoffs, so doesn't really make sense for them.
-
Any qb with our run game and current defense can do what he's been doing. Maybe not Hooker because he went to Tennessee but you could sign Heinicke tmrw and get the same production as Bryce next game lol.
-
Bills are 31st in rushing defense. I would be cool with trotting out Hooker and running the option all game.
