Him being out makes it a lot easier for our D not to get destroyed on dumpoffs to Kamara

Last year we were close against KC and Philly this year we took down GB, LAR and Dallas (who's playing better now)

Bucs are still the favorites to win the division

Falcons have the 2nd most sacks in the league with 48. Bijan and sacks are the only things they have done well this year. Our 18 sacks puts us at 31st, 1 sack ahead of the Niners, and all their pass rush has been on IR. Both the Saints and Bucs have allowed more sacks than us. Seattle has allowed only 17 sacks to lead the league. -

Seasons like this are why you follow a team. What did anyone expect improvement to look like?

Except other fans. Who wish they would not get ahead of themselves counting chickens before they are all in the coup. It seems like a lot of people already have this win in the books when they start the speculation. One more day to look at NO. I hear they are going to miss a starting ROT. If DB can disrupt and put that guy on an island without help maybe we can get some pressure on the QB.

Hopefully 10 point favorites -
Fans looking at what needs to occur doesn't affect anything

2 wins. All we need is 2 wins. This week and next. That’s it. Accomplish that feat and you win the NFCS.
-
For once I am glad for the late start game. I have too much stuff to do to be watching at 1 pm.
-
This!!!! As if the defense doesn't matter in a WIN. We beat the Rams with a stingy defense and scored enough on offense to win the game. We should be optimistic if our defense compliments our offense.
-
Agree. And that is another factor in why we play the ground and pound. Easier to work with run blocking than pass blocking with no continuity on an OL. Things mostly worked out and we got a couple of ugly wins in weeks where we threw a patchwork OL out there. And agree they failed vs NO. It is a legit worry. Or concern.
-
So you feel the Panthers are honestly a better football team than the Rams?? Reality, we beat a better team. And sometimes, it takes a lot to happen to be able to do so. Yet here you are, downplaying how well our team fought as a team, to beat a much better team.
-
You’re right. I will never get over the DT who was gonna be the LOT with one offseason, Byron Bell, stuff like that. I just have a negative opinion of him through that memory. Matt Khalil? Was that Gettleman too?
-
Our offensive line has been nothing but a mash unit that its parts being constantly rotated all season long. This doesn't get discussed much when the discussion is any individual offensive performances, which is crazy. As the play of the line is the most important, especially if the rest of the offense is to execute consistently. The saints game, the offensive line didn't play well at all. This game, the offensive line must perform better.
