  2. Tomorrow is the time to assess, one would think. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2031210595383497117?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  3. The #Panthers waiting to restructure contracts until after they've reached a massive deal (or eventual deals), in theory, allows them to assess how much they need to restructure individually and collectively. They don't have to kick the can down the road blindly or overtly. They still have plenty of wiggle room. It's a matter of shaping the cap with tangible needs and wants. Will it work out? Not sure. But it's logical. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2031124752480481651?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  4. Ok, now THIS one I like. Very reasonable contract. Definitely will make me forget about those other two contracts for now. At least now we can focus on the o-line in the draft
  5. He couldn’t even beat out Tanner McKee for a backup spot last year. I’m all for it like I said, especially as a UNC fan, but multiple teams have tried him and he hasn’t beaten literally anybody out.
  6. The Panthers are working with Brady Christensen on a possible extension. Nothing urgent, but mutual interest. https://x.com/bthatespanthers/status/2031072515842605383?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  7. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Samac ends up starting. Hes spent a year with us and it’s possible our staff feels like he can be a decent starter. We wouldn’t have let Mays go if we didn’t feel confident in replacing him. I feel we could also find some cheap vets or draft a center. Tackle is the bigger issue. We don’t know if Icky will even come back to be a starting level tackle. Moton is 31 and we need his replacement as well. Drafting a tackle in the first would be the best option. We also need some depth if one gets injured. Yijman is a great option and so is BC but we don’t know when he’ll be back
  8. PFF LB Devin Lloyd signs with Carolina Panthers 2025 PFF Grade: 88.4 2025 PFF WAR: 0.24 Contract: 3 years, $45 million PFF Projected Contract: 3 years, $48 million PFF Contract Grade: Good After two years as a good linebacker, Lloyd became one of the game’s best in 2025 by producing an 85.2 PFF run-defense grade and a 78.9 PFF coverage mark. Carolina lands a much-needed playmaker over the middle after placing 29th in PFF overall grade at linebacker, and to add Lloyd below market projection is terrific.
  9. If Princely can figure it out, Evero could really have some pieces. 1st and 2nd down - Phillips/Scourton 3rd down - Phillips kicks inside w/ DB, Scourton/Princely off the EDGE w/ Lloyd and Moehrig patrolling.
  10. Man, fug Matt Boyd. Should be deported. Haha.
  11. Howell's only true starting season he was sacked 65 times, put up almost 4k yards, ran for 250 and 5 tds while throwing for 21/21. Lot of ints but he was also being asked to do a lot with lots of pressure and no RB help. I don't think it's even questionable to think he could come in and legitimately compete with Bryce right away.
  12. Their reddit is not happy they didnt retain him for what we paid
  13. Its his job to blow smoke about BY9 and dis everyone else on the team
  14. I don’t think we would spend that kind of money on a LB that can’t play all 3 downs. It said he played 331 coverage snaps last year and only gave up one TD so him not being a coverage LB seems kinda like BS?
  15. Moton should be back in 27 just due to the guarantees. I can't see us cutting him and eating that cap hit. Trade might be a bit different, but how many teams trade for 20m tackles? I wouldn't be surprised to see us take 2 this year, 1 in the first and one in the 4th that has potential to play inside if they don't develop as quickly. Our line is awfully thin atm with the unknown injury Hunt got during the postseason. Even if Hunt's ok, we still lack depth. I could see is walking away from this draft with 2 tackles and a center, especially if we move down to pick up an extra 3rd or 4th.
  16. He was so up and down for 4 seasons. They declined his 5 year option for a reason Oloukon has been their LB1. Evero loves to send pressure so my guess is if Lloyd is going to be used a 3 down back here he’ll be blitzing on 3rd down a lot. Would’ve liked to have signed someone a lot quicker if that’s the case. Lloyd isn’t very explosive. Used to be
