BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
TD alt replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree to a point, and I've also said something similar. The thing is though, it's arguable that some other positions are a higher priority, and we just can't be in the business of passing up higher graded players at other positions to fill others, especially when we haven't even given current players the chance to pan out after only a season. I mean, at some point, if our guys show a higher consistency of flashes, you have to let them develop. I'm not averse to drafting an LB (EDGE or tackling machine) first, but they have to be definitely better than others at other positions. -
That’d be a crazy good trade for us and they need a young WR to groom after testing JM to Jax. But we’d have to include more like a second round pick as well would anybody be ok with that kind of trade?

I'd take this trade so damn fast

Are the Panthers a "Trap Game" for the Hawks?
45catfan replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Playing a divisional leader is a trap game? Who knew? -
What makes him a cornball and why do you care about someone’s personal life this is about players football performances. What corny or cool things he does in his free time is all on him idgaf what any player does in his free time let’s stay focused on his football playing more then personal life bc worrying about what a player does in personal time is CORNY as hell!!!

Draft a WR this year when the value is there. Obvious not i the first round because we need a defensive stud with that pick, but productive WRs can be found in just about any round. Make XL earn his keep; just don't trot him out there and hope he develops. Have a talented, hungry rookie breathing down his neck. At best we would be four deep at WR and at worse we can cut/trade XL and already have his replacement.

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
45catfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wish him the best and a speedy recovery. I wonder how many games he missed this season compared to the "injury prone" Peyton Wilson? -
No. The Panthers are not a losing team or considered an easy win.

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
Panthero replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Edge always seems to take two to three years, so hard to know if either of the guys from last year will improve enough to be true difference makers. Id probably still draft one and invest in a free agent thats proven. -
Getting off press coverage will be a big one moving forward I’m hoping to see him add some muscle this offseason to help with that

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year

Hmmm… is Isaiah Simmons gonna get some playing time? Would be a great lottery ticket to get some solid production from him in a resurrection of his career. Agree with most in this thread on the draft and lb room. Gimme Sonny styles please. -
Maxx Crosby is not happy
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to cranky's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why does he spell his name like some pornstar though? -
At this point I think we're better off with T-mac/Coker/DMoore/Jimmy if we're actually trying to make the playoffs. It's actually kind of a shame they didn't give Jimmy Horn more looks downfield this season instead of limiting him to those jet sweeps every time he gets called in. It's too late to experiment at this point unless we win Sunday and the Bucs lose

C'mon now with with 89 doing a boner pill commercial at the 12 minute mark lol. "I'm older too, and I'm also single now"

AJ Barner bout to feast on our LB room come Sunday... Whole game plan will prob be to stop JSN and run game, with our LB corp as thin right now it could be a BIG problem -
i think the raiders could use a country boy WR that likes eating steamed raccoon testicles
-
But cam was like a whimsical guy and fun. Crosby is not that at all. He’s talented but hard to root for in my opinion
-
we had a qb that dressed like willy wonka and he gave us our best seasons. who cares about that poo (maxx would never come here though, you are right about that)
-
I think I could put up with a cornball for 10 sacks lol. But your probably right that he would never come here.

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year

If you get a chance to upgrade either(or both) EDGE spots, you do so. Doesn't mean Scourton shouldn't get reps, after all we will see plenty of reps from the two deep. We just need to get that front 7 better overall. You hope our young guys keep getting better and eventually become either very good rotational players or elite guys. -

Like 53 better anyway and i still like what barnes did when he had to start. I'm not as down on the LB position as most on here. We've been spoiled by elite LB play so it's tough to fill those shoes.
