  1. Past hour
  2. Let me guess, Duke isn't a blue blood right? Another choke job in the tourney is definitely frustrating. They lost 3 games this year and choked every single one of them away. They choked at least 3 games away last year too. I'm not trying to be a tool but definitely think not being challenged enough in the ACC is a problem. No excuse for not knowing what to do when a team doesn't just lay down though.
  3. Much different time. College basketball plays many more games than. They did in Smith's ERA.
  4. Jesus, people. This happens everywhere. Remember when Ron was filling holes with Bolts rejects? When you need JAG/depth pieces, most organizations go with ones they know are good locker room guys.
  5. And ironically one of the league's best young players statistically in the paint we traded away for crumbs a few years ago. POVERTY!
  6. Nothing. Makes me happier than watch Duke miss the final four.
  7. Realistically as much fun as it has been to see this team bombard teams from 3 it just isn't sustainable for us as a winning formula aside from catching better teams off guard from time to time and it isn't going to translate to a playoff run and certainly not a championship when we are so ineffective in the paint and have no go to answer in that area when games are on the line. The strategy of this franchise entering the offseason should be getting better in the paint. Drill that into everyone's head inside the building. All this rabble about not disrupting chemistry is weak minded. What chemistry? This team is 10th in the standings heading into April. In a historically weakened Eastern conference.
  8. Maybe the Sadiq interest is real, maybe he's this years Jalon Walker.
  9. Team is young and learning. Twenty wins more this year versus last year. You complain way too much
  10. I still say the Hornets should weigh all their options at head coach after the season. Too much potential on this roster.
  11. Today
  12. If it’s Lloyd, I wonder if Veesar stays or if there is any animosity there from either side about his transfer from Arizona. Veesar plus Krievas if Lloyd could bring him would be unreal.
  13. Good. Get the replacements in, fug the union. Then you can hold your refs accountable. If things improve, I might start watching other non-panther games again for the first time in a decade.
  14. ET is, damn near, magical when it comes to numbers. But, it does seem like he might need an actual hockey guy like Waddell paired with him to advise him on the on ice implications of his (in)actions.
  15. They are backing up the brink truck for the hire and for NIL. So expect whoever gets the job to have plenty of money for staff and recruiting to pull his players as well as others.
  16. Some good stuff here, well worth your time. - Joe says interest in Kenyon Sadiq is real - if he’s still available @19, there’s a good chance he’s the pick - CB in the 1st is also a strong possibility - Chau Smith-Wade would then move to SF - Julian Council reveals he’s gay - lots more!
  17. In a world of cameras and AI, why we need human refs anymore in any sport is beyond me. Most games in any sport, I could make the call quicker and more accurately from my couch, hammered.
  18. Hopefully the NFL can hire refs that work directly for them full time. Right now, most are lawyers and executives that do a few weeks of training per year and have little incentive for good performance or ways to be held accountable. Would like to see New York have the time to over rule in real time and actual press conferences- not a topic secret “pool report”
  19. Maybe it just came late this year.
  20. No chatter here about the Hornets getting boat raced in what was another de facto playoff game. Just when I want to believe in this team, they turn back into the same franchise I've known for 40 years.
  21. Need in finding a replacement for him come April!
  22. April Showers & Easter Bunnies!

  23. I am also in the camp of I could care less about the current refs serving the NFL. I think they do a poor job overall. I’ll leave it at that.
  24. After some of the calls last year probably won't see much of a drop off
  25. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48344034/nfl-begin-hiring-replacement-officials-given-state-negotiations-nfl-referees-association Honestly fug these refs and their union. Resisting changes that would actually incentivize good performance and not seniority based systems. What a bunch of donkeys. Hope the replacements straight up take their jobs and never give them back. Sick of watching refs script games with no repercussions.
