  1. Past hour
  2. The "boy wonder" isn't qualified to be a starting QB in the NFL on any team.
  3. My theory is that his passion is really doing the social media thing and not being an NFL player. Which, that's perfectly fine but you wouldn't be a social media draw if it weren't for the association with football.
  4. Canales came out and said that shortly after drafting him iirc we don’t. Two people can suck. But man fuging legette doesn’t even know how to play football and doesn’t seem to want to learn.
  5. Damn two people think we can win a game. Look out world. As I type that I realize what that does to the chances of 1st pick again. And understand because we are the black cat Panthers, we are destined to win it.
  6. Well you don’t , uhh we don’t know the ins and outs of that trade up and why he was the guy they chose. Canales may not have been driving that. But how do we overlook the QB as far as standing out for sucking?
  7. Biggest standout loser is the guy he traded up for last season. Being head coach isn’t justification to have more authority when he’s struggled at everything else he’s attempted.
  8. I think Ron is done. He is a grandfather figure now. Consultant for Luke. Better version of Dom/Evero.
  9. In less of those cases than it appears. If incompetence takes root in the management structure, it quickly will overwhelm the hiring processes. Idiots multiply like rabbits and corporations are the ultimate cowards with next to zero ability to take the trash out. Poor performance is so very rarely a reason to lose your job in corporate America.
  10. No you made it about two years. and you’re still fuging wrong.
  11. At least he will be making it easy for us if he dogs it this way. I know we aren’t a social thing it is production, but I wonder if there is something in his personal or family life that is twisting him up.
  12. The Panthers rank like #9 in the league in average attendance right now, 11 last year and 8 the year before. Things aren't as bad as we think or feel. The team has historically always sold seats regardless which could be attributed to corporate events and companies buying a chunk and also opposing teams' fans showing up (oof). On top of that profit sharing counts for like 60% of most teams' income. You don't have to be good to make money. It's like wrestling, you need your jobbers for the rest of the league to beat up on. This is one of the fastest grouping markets in America.... this team is not going anywhere. I don't think the NFL would allow it either because it's a money maker. Though I too share in the sentiment that maybe if they left it would end the suffering.
  13. I mean, it is yet another year on top of a big stack of years, if it fails. But I think that is reasonable. That’s three years and fair enough.
  14. I am gonna be honest, at XL's extreme best moments for us so far, he has looked decent. That is a problem already. It hasn't taken Coker(a UDFA, mind you) or TMac to need a competent QB to show plenty of flashes. Hell, Tremayne has looked markedly better than XL. Same dumpster fire QB. There is no excuse to be giving next to no effort and mailing it in like XL has been this season. And that's after a season marked by drops and boneheaded plays. The truth is, he isn't an NFL player. Even a little bit. It's up to him if he ever wants to attempt it, but he hasn't so far.
  15. I want XL to be right because he is sort of a homie, local and state and on the pro home team. He has good things going for him but this year he is way off on the wrong foot. That getting ejected from the preseason game on what was it, the first play? WTF. Loafing, not having your head in the game situationally, WTF man. A d I am not even talking about his drops last year which I could dismiss if he came in right. Better step it up or he will be last option to catch a ball from any new and better QB that might come along.
  16. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster and His infinte noodly wisdom!!!
  17. Calling my shot now... 19-5 gonna be top pairing in the NHL this season.
  18. I don’t think Sam was that bad here in 2022. I would have kept him and kept looking for a good undervalued guy to groom. Anyhow about the owner. Was it the 49ers that the owners did a lot of the same type of crap we see from a Tepper, and then finally figured it out? if not them, I am thinking of someone but can’t pull it up from the old hard drive. If this whole Bryce fiasco doesn’t do it for Tepper I don’t know what will.
  19. That 7 yard hail mary on Sunday told you all you need to know. lol
  20. I get that. When you said Funchess, I knew that he only looked good here and the same for Philly. I was really mad about the Benjamin over Devante Adams and the Funchess over Stephon Diggs picks. We would've no doubt had the talent to beat the all time defense of the Broncos. Rant over, I believe that the kid has looked decent at times, but being all out on him at this stage is a bit premature. I am with you on the going elsewhere and balling out though. People are saying that about Bryce and I feel if he can't look even competent here it isn't going to look better elsewhere. I am just saying we wait till at least there is continued competence at QB before we start labeling our WRs busts 19 games into their careers.
  21. Today
  22. There is always at least one. I am probably crazy but I don’t think we are gonna lose this game. Nothing to do with analysis, I just kind of feel it. I could make an analysis case too probably, with Tyreek Hill being out and Tua not being much better than Bryce.
  23. Ever said something you knew you'd eventually regret? Ever been too stupid or naive to realize you said it? Ever watched future self just kiss millions and millions of dollars goodbye? Dude. Really.
  24. I dont think you can fire him either but I do wonder what tepper would do if we dont crack 5 wins. On the flip side we cannot let Dave pick a qb in the draft if his seat is hot. Its a conundrum for sure. One of Teppers makings.
  25. Hate to say it but we can't fire DC right now. He was basically forced to work with BY as part of his conditions for being hired and hasn't really had the opportunity to get a QB of his own. That's not a good look when you're interviewing new candidates. A coach has to be given the chance to do his job with players that fit what he does and DC hasn't been given that chance. Fire him and you're putting another box on the list to keep coaches from coming here. Plus, Morgan needs to be given another year as well so he can either show he's can have a successful draft or he's a bust as well so the whole damn show can be flipped and started over with a president of football operations and build from there. No more hold overs. Empty the damn building and start with a brand new staff.
  26. It's both column A and column B. Bryce ain't going to make it as an NFL starting QB. At least not here and probably not ever, the physical limitations just can't seem to be overcome consistently. And that's a shame because, well, he's a good kid and I wish it had worked out for him and us. But also, this ain't working out here as a team. We're poorly built from bottom to top. There's no consistency in coaching, there's no team identity, there's no grit, no depth and seemingly little plan or resistance to market influences that get us to buy high and sell low. We have a few guys we call star players that would, well, be starters on other teams, and a crap ton of starters that would be back-ups, bench sitters or free agents outside of this organization. No QB is going to come here and have much success. Much like Rodgers with the Jets, we just don't have fug all for a team. The QB, no matter the pedigree, can't pull us out of the mudhole we have created for ourselves as we've wallowed over the last seven years. No matter how high we draft a QB here, we'd just be planting a seed on rocky soil. It wouldn't survive. Look at Mac Jones and how he has played over three games in San Fran. He was supposed to be a total career washout, another 'Bama Bust. Guy looks like he can handle the game, because he has a well coached, professional team around him. One that has a lot of injured stars, but still fights to win. And you can look at Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, two guys who washed up on our deserted desert island and floundered mightily here. But man, put them on solid teams and they both are living up to their original draft status. To be perfectly honest, this poo won't change until we, as an organization, change down deep. There has to be a total sea change here. We can't make the owners go away, but we can pressure for them to blow this thing completely up and hire in a handful of consultants, perhaps retired GMs and HCs with winning programs in the N-fuging-FL. Then remake it all. Management, coaching, team, trainers, scouts, even equipment folks. Sorry, I'm tired of this pile of horseshit we call a team. It has just eaten alive the careers of many young athletes and all of us fans since the change in ownership.
