My feeling on Howard is that’s he has everything Dart has. And has played in different offenses. Dart only knows where Lane Kiffen schemed up. I think y’all experienced Corral enough to know. Good value even if he can become backup at any time.

I wanted to see some thoughts on the trade and got some insight on my Steelers. A lot of it I can’t argue with. In the horrible position of not good enough to compete but too good to tank. With no QB plan for present or future. Signing Fields would have bought them one-two years to search and if he continues improving like last year, then problem solved. And he doesn’t prevent them from taking a 1st rounder who gets in the range of their pick. But Tomlin screwed him over and he bolted. Now Rodgers is probably coming, and they will finish 9-8. It’s time to move on from Tomlin or they’ll be in same position for a decade. Pickens was gone the second they gave DK his contract. Thought of the Panthers but y’all took care of that and he’s the last thing Bryce needs. Offense should be fun to watch and defense….well.. I think if defense is average you win South.

If Rodgers doesn't sign "I fully expect him to do so", watch Will Howard go out and throw for 3600 yards with 25td and 10int and the Steelers are 11-6 and in the Playoffs with a QB and having not spent much on him. lol

Yea, he definitely for sure didn't want to play here and I'm not mad at having Stankoven and the picks but damn would it have been nice for him to have wanted to be here and get that kind of production from a player. Mikko has turned it on and now has 8 goals and 15 points in 8 games so far this playoff run for the Stars.

Statistically he was top 10 in a lot of impressive areas after his benching. He was top 10 in passer rating, he was #1 in touchdown to turnover ratio, #6 in PFF passer grade, #1 in high difficulty throws completed, #1 in tight window throw completion rate. The only place he really lacked is the place most people look at QB stats, the yards. But he was near the top in the league in so many categories for that stretch that I am comfortable saying he was a top 10 QB for the latter half of 2024. Also another stat I was surprised given his height, he was #1 (as in least) in batted down passes.

However it shakes out, our 5 WR sets are going to be pretty nasty.

DAWG. drops nothing. great routes and technique and can throw a heck of a pass. Panthers have no intention of sitting XL and for now he’s the default #2, but he better watch his back. I just rewatched the Philly game. XL had 3, yes 3, drops on the panthers drive to take the lead in the 4th. Good passes. 3 drops. This team is committed to competing this year and repeat performances I’m sure will not be tolerated.
