I think that goes both ways ask how many wins CMC added to the 49ers or if they even have an offense without him. That said I think love is more gifted than CMC in every aspect except catching the football.

I agree. That's what I'm hearing and seeing when I watch his clips the way he moves is Reggie bush like. He's a difference maker athletically. We don't have anyone like that on our roster offensively that just moves like an elite change of direction speed type. He's a first rounder for that reason. Now if everyone is saying he's a first rounder based on talent, we aren't bringing back dowdle, we don't know what we have in brooks or if he will be the same when he returns, Chubba is a fine back let's not act like he does anything at an elite level. He's not super fast break away speed or power change of direction. How would love not even be considered?

Ashawn is solid but for 12m a year we can find similar production for much less. If we can't find a trade partner, I'd be open to bringing him back at a much lower number but me personally I wanna see more reps for Bobby Brown and Cam Jackson. It is what it is with Tershawn Wharton that was a massive overpay by Morgan and Brandt but his contract is structed to where we can get out pretty clean next offseason so at least let's give him this year to see if he can turn it around.

It is a pressing need, but there are several pressing needs. I would still think that OL, LB and Safety are just as important, if not more.

Styles is probably a pipe dream at this point. Would love to somehow end up with both CJ Allen and Jacob Rodriguez. The new TD/Luke combo would feed Panther families for a decade.

That is a convoluted mess. Cut to the end of all that and it comes down to we were picking 9th and wanted to pick 1st because we thought Bryce Young was worthy of that. I am not saying there weren’t fugups before with Burns and CMC and not taking a 1st for Moore and wherever else. Obviously there were some WTF happenings. And some were monumental in their own right. But when the dust settled we were sitting there at 9 with what we came out of all that with and then we did what we did.

The win thing, it is much more than him. They won in spite of him at times. Carried his ass. Over and out at 8-10, and that was 2025. He was 8-9 Dalton lost one, It is so subjective. He played well at times yes but let’s don’t pretend that is really winning. Still under .500. It felt good because we won more than we have in a few sorry years.

We were excited about Styles I think, in the moment. Already hyped from his interview following his meeting with Morgan, and he flat tears it up at the combine. Without going back to look, I think that was it. And us wanting a LB. He started looking pretty good to me and we have no shot at him. That’s the context.

Who is this generational talent were missing out on in February?

That’s funny. I didn’t get much poo for what I said. I got no attention really on it until now. I am all for the playoffs but those other teams were just as good on the year as we were. A flukey hot streak finish by Atlanta, which was a hell of a job, is why we lost our way into the playoffs. I like to really earn it. It feels like you deserve it. And picking lower is worth it. The way we went in feels like they threw a bridal bouquet in the air and the girl they threw it to dropped it. Our clumsy ass had fallen to the floor lunging for it, it was dropped right into our hands. Elohel It does say a lot about the guys on the team that we showed up for that WC game.
